Hey all. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I had a question regarding Ron and Ron. I recently heard a clip from their show. i think it was near the end, and Ronnie B. was really pissed because the other Ron was leaving the show without letting him and Fez know about it. Can anyone fill me in on what happened. If this was in a previous post, than i apologize. Just really curious.

oooh, post it! i wanna hear. i dunno what happened as i wasn't a listener back then, but i gather there's been bad blood between ron&ron ever since so i wouldnt be surprised if it was something along those lines

I listened to them religiously, but I really don't know what caused the breakup. I've heard stories, but I'd rather not post rumors or hearsay.<br>

I did recently send Mikeyboy around 10 bits and segments from the Ron & Ron and Hooters on the Radio shows that I had saved on my own on cassette and converted to mp3, so they should be up in the file library shortly.

I think they've since made up, or at least are on speaking terms.

Wow.... uncomfortable. Lets all bow our heads and give thanks that its
the Ron and Fez show, I never heard this ass and I'm glad everything
worked out for the Buddays. I hope the other Ron drank himself to
psoriasis.
There was a missed opportunity of a Ron and Ron reunion of sorts this past weekend, but Ron and Fez turned down an invitation to Ed Droste's wedding. Apparently, Ron and Fez couldn't rent yellow jackets to fit in with the Hall of Fame quarterbacks there. Diaz got to hang out with Darren Daulton instead.

I heard it was all Paul-o's fault. He was distracting Ronnie in the
hotel room with movie reviews while Diaz was telling him he's leaving.
God dammit Paul....
Ron and Ron don't speak to this day as a result of the argument.

I had heard there was also something about someone's daughter getting slipped a Rufie or getting dosed with somesuch thing.

I've listen for.. oh say 20 years now. YNF, 620, young spock, and way back when I wanted to be a dike on a bike. Ron & Ron were about Ronny B. Ronny D was the straight man, and honestly did poor job of it. FasFezzy being a stand up guy.. knows when to play straight, and when to play the bit. Either HAY!!!! or teasing that retard ... what you have in Ron & Fez are THE BEST in radio!

Ronny D, with all due respect was, and is a ham an egger when comedy is concerned. Trust those who are in tampa, and actually listen to the ham and ian show every morning.

For what it's worth, one of their friends from down in Fla. called in during the Irish Car Bomb night and Ron specifically said to give "Ronny D. our love, and tell him Fez was very drunk." And not sarcastically.

Flipper's real name is Ron D. Maybe it wasn't Diaz he was referring to.
I'm almost 99.9% sure there is no lingering hard feelings. What happened was many years ago. Who could still hold a grudge after so many years, good times, and money. Though I again have to reiterate that te R&F show is twice the show R&R was. I only say this because Fezzy is twice the rdaio personality. Not that Ronny D is all that bad. It's just Fezzy is THAT good, AND such a damn good fit with Ronny B.

Man its just not my vulcing day...

No, it was Diaz I think because the guy who called has a show on the same radio station as Diaz's show.

Dan G

It's quite a different show, too. When Ron & Fez first went to NY, I sampled their show online and found it strange not to hear women getting body shots (which was basically their trademark when they were in Florida). The humor is still there and that's what I love about the show.
