After many years of wanting to look at what the FBI compiled about me during my old security clearance, I decided to file through the FOIA to see the files. I know there's nothing really crazy in my file, but I thought it would be fun to see just how much the were able to dig up. Some of my friends told me about being interviewed by the FBI way back when, and some of the questions were pretty damn funny. Here's my question...

In the application, they ask how much I'm willing to pay for the paperwork (I don't qualify for any of the fee wavers). What the hell am I supposed to say? I hate it when people ask what you're willing to pay!

So what amount do you think I should say, that's not too much, but won't have them saying, "thanks for the nickle, ass-hat"?
