After making threatening comments towards Hot 97's DJ Envy's 4-year-old daughter, Clear Channel communications has <strike>either suspended or</strike> fired Star from the Star and Buc Wild show on Power 105. The comments included soliciting the address of where the girl went to school, threatening to urinate on the girl, and saying, "And to the woman who carried that mongrel for 9 months, I'm coming for your seed." Please have the Ani loop ready.

Maybe star could end up working the same place as Bubba the Love Sponge in this "strange bedfellows" life. Star has resented Howard Stern since the Wardrobe Malfunction Superbowl event. Remember the crackdown that followed andClear Channel dropped Stern? Stern got frustrated and started to point out seeming double-standards. He used people like Oprah and urged his listeners to make complaints about Star who worked for the Clear Channel station in Hartford, Connecticut.Since Star returned the NYC he called him "the long-haired faggot" for ratting him out to the FCC.Star to Sirius? Why Not? But I take that he's still under contract or something just taken off air like O and A was.

The difference between O&A (church sex), Bubba (slaughtering a pig), Cowhead (Low ratings, bad attitude), and Star is that NONE OF THE FIRST THREE THREATENED A FOUR YEAR OLD GIRL. He's effectively killed his career, IMHO.

I read a more detailed account and it just sounds like it was mean spirited, not funny in the least.  Although, we can't tell the context after the fact.I mean I enjoy dark humor but that just seemed like it was mean for the sake of being mean, not creative at all.

Apparently the comments were made on Monday, but he was just fired today. Nobody noticed the comments until the wife had a press conference.

I actually find this kind of astonishing. My money was on Star to take over NYC radio after Stern left for the birddog. His show was constantly on the edge and I found it quite funny. I once heard him refer to Stern as a "hook nosed faggoty old cracka" or something to that effect. <obvious> With a good promotional effort, O&A could dominate mornings in nyc by the end of the fall book. </obvious>  the audio is crazy harsh though. I was listening to it and wondering what would happen if Stern made comments today like the ones he made about Mancow's dad back in the day....

My suspicion is that if DJ Envy's wife, Gia Casey, and councilman/politician John Liu didn't put this out there in such a big way, Clear Channel wouldn't have done anything. Maybe another sacrifice? CC knew who they were getting when Star was in Connecticut before they brought him back to NYC.

I know I am going to get shit on for this but I am just not outraged or shocked, not in todays radio climate. Am I a bad person? I am posting this to stimulate discussion not to pick a fight. I have around 500 posts and the only time I was ever negative to another poster was one of the ESDdieofAIDS assholes. I don’t think he was in anyway serious. I see him as just fucking around trying to shock strictly for the purpose of being outrageous. I used to listen to Star. The guy is incredibly talented. His style is similar to Ronnie’s (not that he was in the same ball park, I put Ron ahead of Jesus, just talking about his delivery, ability to carry a show, etc). Maybe my sense of humor is just really depraved (not that I found this rant particularly funny), I just don’t think any malice was intended. I know I am in the minority maybe you guys can make me see it your way.Stick and stones... okay for that I deserve a beating...

Kaheem "Killa Ka" Vance is the  second Bucwild who Star hired last year. He was hired when the original Buc Wild who is Star's half-brother, quit the show or didn't want to work or something. The last times I listened, Buc Wild was mostly off air doing research to earn his dues. I've never listened to the station, as I don't have a criminal record.I wonder what this means.

This was how it was ever since Star had his own magazine many years ago (Around the Way Connections) as well as his Public Access Show, and his show on MTV (Beat Suite). He left Hot 97 years ago because he claims that the new mangement refused to give him the back pay he was entitled to by the old managment. But I digress.Basically, Star had a problem with Envy since Hot97 since Envy is known to act like a "thug" in person. Envy said some sly remarks towards Star the other day and was called out by him immediately. He told Envy to come by Power 105s station and wait out front and challenged him to a fist or a gun fight. Envy never showed, and lied saying that he waited out there for Star with some people, and never saw him. This is what made Star flip on Monday and mention Envy's daughter. Star was never going to do a thing to Envy's daughter, he just wanted to beat Envy's ass. Envy's pale faced, horse looking wife then joined up with a councilman from Flushing Queens (Star and Envy live in Jersey, the stations are in Manhattan. what the fuck is this guy doing in the midst of this) and made that dramatic press conference. Funny how she doesnt want to look over her shoulder as she said, and yet she's putting her face on TV. Funny that Envy's fat ass was nowhere in sight at the press conference. Funny that all of this is around the same time Hot97 lost in a ratings war to Power 105. Basically, I don't agree with what Star said, but I don't think he was going to act on those threaths. He just wanted to piss Envy off enough to make him finally face him. And as for his wife, she was mad when Star let the cat out of the bag that he used to run trains on her in college. This was confirmed by several sources. Come on, if you were really afraid of Star coming after your kid, you'd call the cops, not the news. You wanna kick him off the air as well? CALL THE COPS! He'd be in jail. This is a buncha bullshit

I just read an article on this ridiculous feud I think in Monday's Daily News. I've heard a little of both shows (my sister's a wigger) and neither side really ever has anything to say. Both shows are always harsh and the insults are always the same dumb comments that people shouldn't be saying on the radio. I don't know if Star should be fired because he said these things, he should be fired more for his stupidity in saying these things. I agree with Jynx that none of this was ever gone get carried out, but I mean I think its probably just best to let the stupid retard go. I think ridiculous threats should eb covered under the 1st Amm., but Free Speech should only be afforded to smart people.

This man is hellbent on knocking Ron and Fez out of the Top 10 Shock Jocks list.  I think on Monday Ron really should cook a baby to counter Star's move.
