Is it just me, or is every R&F event a royal disaster? Maybe it's a bit???

1. Their events are where pale face and redskin both turn chicken.

Ron and Fez events are never a "disaster" but everything said on the air today was 100% true. JerseyRich and I were the first ones there, followed by Mikey D. Pitz showed up with the banners and the swag shortly after, and Earl didn't show up until nearly 8 PM. East Side Dave was upstairs in the restaurant pounding down White Russians from about 6:30 PM.

It's still a great time even if everything planned beforehand doesn't come to fruition.

Wrangler Jane was HOT.
i dont think The R&F staff is a full on F-Troop. I do think the staff relies too much on the fans to TCB. Honestly, what could have been so important that needed to go to the office to take care with the replays? Dave says needed help since he was carring the tub water and some swag. here is an idea Dave empty out the water. A gallon of water does weigh 8 pounds after all. Why not dry Roberto out in a dryer? Why not put the dried puppet and the swag in the tub? Why not ask for help from someone?

My point exactly. Thank God breathing is involuntary or ESD would die. Who the hell carries puppet water to an event.

The on air guys, excluding R&F, that are supposed to do the coordination and work just don't. It is the fan base that does pull it off.

I've only been to 2 events, Karavas & the X-mas party. What was said on the air was hilarious, but it did not look like a fuck up. Dave singing was great. I heard him although i was kinda close to the band. My only impression when i walked in was "what a small space" and i have the foot print marks on the points of my shoes to prove it!

Bobo my good man no one is disputing wheather it was a great time. i wanst there and I know that is was a great time. Hands down. What is being discussed is the coordination of the event.
After the get together a month or so ago it was widly discussed that a bigger location was needed. from what i see of the pictures this place looks smaller. Last week Earl wasnt even sure if on promos were needed. WTF? Dave came there when he felt like and started drinking.
Now, before i lost my job, I was a construction project manager. Three times a year (all in the spring or summer) we had golf outings. now this was a fun event, with alot of eating and drinking and ball busting and not alot of golfing. As employees we did have assigned duties for the day. rule#1 no out of hand drinking until at least half the golfers were at the 9th hole. Why could this be a rule for R&F staff at an event? Rule #2 the first tee time was/is 7.00, all staff needs to be on site at least an hour before the event. Another great idea. Do you know how many last minute details there are at an event? tons.
I do think that at the next event there should be a BIG R&F.net Banner. Why should any other website be promoted at a R&F event? same goes for pics and vids.

WTF?
As to this point, there was a conscious decision to make this a smaller event with less promotion -- something a little different for the "hardcores", and there was an attempt to make it more like an old WNEW/ronfez.net event. Don't blame Earl or Dave for this. If I remember correctly, R&F said something on air about how it would be fun to have another event at Karavas, and Staples and Crankcase got involved and the event got planned. There will be future events in larger bars, but this was intentionally a smaller one.

I always think of the R&F/producers situation as more like Get Smart.

Ron is the Chief, Fez is Larabee, and ESD is bumbling Maxwell Smart.
