I have had it with Earl. He gets away with murder. I am listening to this argument again and it seems pretty clear to me that he will just throw anyone under the bus to save his own ass. The notion that Earl cannot effectively communicate with his production has come up in the past and this latest explosion is a clear illustration. His first ouburst would have either given him a suspension without pay or an early termination at every place where I have been employed. I continue to be amazed by his lack of professionalism.

What a bunch of literal asses some people can be. The over-dramatizing of things that happen on the air. Perhaps it's a setup for a night of fights or something. You want to blow up Earl's gig because he had an on-air fight with Dave? How many producers over the years have exploded about one thing or another from Dumpy, to Al Dukes, to Rory, to Wonderboy, to Earl, by now you should figure out somethings are bits or setups. An on air producer melt down on the Ron & Fez show is far more common than you may think.

Holy crap. I just re-listened to the start of the fight. Earl lost his shit. Screamed so loud the audio was actually at a reasonable level (even if it was saturated). Just nutso. I won't be entirely surprised if Earl gets triple secret probation or an actual real reprimand. That was crazy.
The phones have not gotten fixed...therein lies the problem. How could XM overlook such a vital part of a radio show? The problem is not Dave or Earl or anything that they have control over. The PHONES!!!Just fix the actual real problem.XM corporate types are like the BORG,and I created the BORG just to illustrate this type of mechanical man thinking /CORPORATE inability to accept responsibility, accept blame,so they pass the buck and pretend it's not their department. I'm talking about the BORG as a metaphor for CORPORATIONS.Originally it spawned from a negative reaction I had as a kid touring thru our local General Motors assembly plant, which I considered a "LIVING HELL of men and machines". It's like the kiss-ass fake sweetness of phone people...mmmmmmmmm YUM.

If I am not wrong, Earl is Esd's superior. For ESD to come in and start cursing at him is totally out of line and should be grounds for termination. It is unprofessional, and smacks of ESD creating a "hostile work environment" to whit, Earl could sue XM for damages......sorry just had a harassment class at work.
