I have noticed this for MONTHS and you can forget about the search feature all together.  In fact, I will buy anyone a case of beer that can show that the search feature works for two searches within a 10 minute time frame.  This will requre as proof, screen shots and a validated clock to qualify.  They even did something to the site now so that even searching from Google is now useless.  So, no mod ever better complain that a topic is being repeated!!

Did something just happen on the site?  The site was still moving very slowly for me up until about a half hour ago.  Now it's back to normal.  It's actually been normal for me from work the whole time.Well either way, glad it's back to normal.

I read on another site that Adbrite is upgrading its systems tonight and therefore their ads will be loading slowly for a little bit. I noticed Ronfez.net uses them, so I assume that's the issue. If I'm wrong someone who knows something can correct me.

Not to be an ass, but why is it always assumed it's the site?  99.9% when someone says it's "slow," I'm moving along just fine.  Sometimes my connection gets funky and high traffic sites or certain servers get slowed down...it has nothing to do with the site, and everything to do with my cable modem/ISP.

Mojo may be right, but I'm on FIOS (Fiber Optic) and there are times when I can load several other sites in the time it takes to load one page from here.It's not always like this, but I've experienced the same even on my works T-1 line on our main server.

Hey, I'm not saying it's impossible that there's something slowing down the site.  I've just never encountered any slowdown myself unless my connection in general is running crappy.

Even here at work it's a problem.  It's loading fairly quickly but half the sig pics won't load.It's still fucked up.
