View Full Version : Ron & Fez...a 4 hour show?

As it's probably been stated on this message board and on other message boards, this is a great show, and deserves another hour, that is...if they want another hour.

It always seems to be the bastard child to O&A. I know that O&A are the big boys...and they get along with R&F, but I look forward more to the R&F replays then I do the O&A ones. Am I the only one that thinks this way?

I'm with you a 4 hour show would be awsome. I know they could pull it off no problem. My memory isn't the best so remind me if they were doing a 4 hour show back when they were at WNEW.

I for one love the current format. Sometimes more is not ezactly more better. If you time out the segments they have just as much material as the old 4 hour "commercial format." The segments are also not time regulated as much. Just the other day Ron ran for over an hour on the opening topic. That was awesome......

All you need is shelter, warmth and RNF to nourish the soul..

well, the math doesn't work out anymore. o&a doing 6 hour blocks of programming with only 24 hours in a day means R&F will continue being a 3 hour show on 202
I'd much rather have them on at night, live at 7 pm EST, but I'd love to get both the night show and 4 hours.

See the flower? Some Mars animals look like that, minus the leaves. They look like a mix between a snake and a sunflower. R&F will probably follow O&A wisely and return to "real" radio for bigger pay in the long run. This year was better than last year for them so far.Things are progressing & will get better.

first i was thinking what if R&F were on 3-7 but that doesn't give time between them and O&A to plat replays i don't think that would work. but the time setup for now i see work. if you don't here O&A in the morning drive you hear them in the afternoon drive. makes sense
SBC, i dont care, i still want four hours to go by on my clock with R&F playing on my XM. case closed. and who ever said that getting a forth hour of R&F doesnt mean it will good, then tell me how in the world can i hear 18 fucking hours of O&A every day and still find that they make me laugh?
Four hour show, four hour show, four hour show, four hour fucking show. ok?

Listen to the Man who found Life on Mars. O&A have made a MAJOR advance with the return to Howard's old audience.Howard is half a billionaire,so that's also good.Sirius and XM are still in thier infancy, and big things could still happen in the BIG picture. But in the meantime O&A are being loyal to the peeps who spent money on XM just for them,so you have to see that, and they are doing 6 hours of radio a day some days, but at least 5. If O&A find that the 6 hours is hurting them, perhaps they will cut back and return R&F to 11AM. Whether R&F is 3 or 4 hours is probably less changable.I don't forsee better replay times for R&F in the near future,as I did before the major change. However,if R&F follow O&A's lead back into "Big Market" commercial radio ,well better for all, since they don't need to bleep themselves too much, and it will breathe more life into the show being in new markets as we get a bigger slice of America for R&F callers...then we can all hear the REAL RADIO idiots again....Dopey callers. The Mars Caterpillar style bodies are one of the most common.

They could have used some more time today. I think the phone calls were just getting interesting when they had to wrap up.

It would be nice if they could at least play the replays at a normal time!

What would really work for me would be O and A do their show...then Ron and Fez for 4 hours...the replay of the entire O and A show non-stop but without the breaks in the FM show. That would give me the maximum listening pleasure..

8-830 drivetime with o and a

12-1:30 lunch with ron and fez

5:6:00 drive time with o and a, but it si different that I heard in the Am slot...currently I get less ron and fez and the 8-8:30 slot is the same radio as the 5-5:30 slot and then after 5:30 it is stupid bestoff crap...Hell they have forced me to switch to sports talk radio on AM in the afternoons with the stupid replay schedule..
