No it's not.

It will be profitable. The only thing that is of concern are the string of lawsuits of late.

One of the few things Hoo Hoo was ever right about was that satellite radio will be the equivilant of cable TV. You just have to give it time and let it find its place in the market. Hopefully the doggie network won't be around when XM becomes the nation's foremost terrestrial alternative.

"no its not" kickin doggie ass or "no its not" it trouble.
as for the lawsuites. it has to weather the storm. same as the VCR did. i am sure HBO was riddled with lawsuites at its conception. i think WHT (hbo lame-o rip off) had these problems. but i am not sure, or i am just name dropping because i want to. :P

I think if XM stays in the lawsuit for the long haul, the RIAA may lose steam....

Neither company is doing well, but XM is really suffering. They just downgraded guidance for the current year, predicting they will end the year with 8.5 million rather than 9 million. That means they will have addead 2.5 million this year, which is LOWER than what they added last year. That is BAD. Meanwhile, later in the day Sirius reaffirmed their guidance, saying tehy will end the year with 6.2 million, but more importantly, they will add 2.8 million for the year, beating XM for an entire year. Most of that can be attributed to the the first couple of months, but that each company will be essentially breaking even in subscriber additions for the entire year is bad news for XM and great for Sirius. Furthermore, each company is predicting they will start generating positive cash flow at the same time, which was unthinkable a year ago. Of course, these are all projections.

And then there's a rumor on XM411.com that Pioneer has suspended shipments of the Inno. That is a RUMOR. But all of this on the heels of the rebel borad member who badmouthed the copany, the shareholder lawsuits and the RIAA lawsuit and this is a horrible time for XM.

But, more importantly, just because everyone was ignoring your bad news in the other thread didn't mean you needed to start a new one. Just take the hint that no one cares.
