After listening to the show today i am ever so perplexed as to why it is a "party" issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that Al Gore could tell any self-proclaimed conservative that there house was on fire and despite the flames and smoke they would say "uh-uh".

why? I know there has to be some neo-cons here that could explain this to me. I just find it so frustrating when there is a real discussion (which Ron's interviews always some how pull me in.) about something and you get the tobacco jawed hooker killin truckers and rebel flag flying duke boys callin in an screamin about some "goddamn pinko liberal conspiracy to destroy 'merica". Is everything from here on out gonna be this super divided issue, where we never actually talk about the issue just what someone on either side of the isle said or did 10 years ago?

I miss being able to discuss an issue and get to some sort of conclussion.. but its even permiated my work (construction). i can try and have a conversation about an issue and suddenly it turns into my attitude and my agenda that are the problem, and not actually ever gettin the damn thing resolved.

(and yes i am a tree-hugin-pinko-commie-dope-smokin-hippie.)

Is it so hard to believe that we (us/humans/mankind) might actually be capable of fucking things up. That one day this whole damn place is gonna go all mad-maxx and i am gonna have to fight for my place in barter town?

Just looking for someone of the Bill o'rielly persuassion to help me figure this out a little..

-emPulse
