Ken Lay said something to the effect of "the lord is on our side", and when they threw it back to shep smith he retorted with "thou shall not steal"

So now they go to a country club that they just can't leave for a year or two? Sounds rough.

What annoys me is one of the headlines on Fox that said "Will Lay and Skilling Survive in Prison?" WHO FUCKING CARES? They should rot there...what about the thousands of poor innocent people who worked their asses off all their lives at Enron and got their life savings destroyed because of their greed and others greed? I could care less if they suffer, they deserve it for what they did.

I don't know if anyone else saw the documentary, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room. It was actually really really good, and absolutely nauseating at the same time. These guys literally lived like rockstars. The best part of it was probably footage of Lay addressing the employees in an auditorium trying to assure them that everything was going to turn out fine while accepting written questions from the audience. He would recieve the slip of paper then read the question outloud, and he reads "Are you on crack, and where can we get whatever you are on?"

It is pretty funny too that one of the guys involved, Lou Pai made it out of this whole scandal alive simply because he sold all his stock to divorce his wife and marry his pregnant stripper girlfriend.

Everything about Enron is just incredibly dark and tragic. One of the things which is very often overlooked about the whole story is the case of Cliff Baxter. He was one of the few who got into a dispute with Skilling about Enron's fraudulent actions, and was supposed to serve as a witness against them in the case. Granted the guy is not completely innocent by any means, he did cash in 9 million worth of stock prior to leaving. Prior to him actually taking the stand he supposedly shot himself in his car in the middle of the night, but even that has been questioned. There are many who feel he was actually murdered, and there was a story a while back in the New York Times quoting one of Baxter's close friends in which he said that Baxter went to him and told him he might need to hire a bodyguard only two days prior to his supposed "suicide". Both those guys deserve to be in a real prison for the rest of their lives.

Kenny "boy" Lay is looking @ 128 yrs in Federal PMITA Prison. But some are worried, and rightfully so, that they will get the 8 years (1/2 time for Good behave) and be out in 3-4years. The prosecutors want to flip Lay for anoither invesitgation because this goes to who Ken Lay told CHenney to put into SEC / and Energy Policing. Ken Lay supposedly was part of the VP's energy taskforce. But rumor is Lay will just wait it out till Retarded monkey boy 43 is on his way out and get the ol' presidential pardon.

But if he gets sentenced to real time, he is 60 and suddenly feel talkitive.. He has over a billion in assetts aparently that he will miss while in jail.
