or car-SUV thing i guess. I bought a Dodge Caliber, and its fuckin awesome. They only have pictures of the red one, mine is in dark blue, but:

I dont have the 5 spoke wheels like that, but everything else is the same short of the color. It includes a 2 speaker boom box that folds down from the tailgate when its open, so the music plays out to the back of the car when you are partying and whatever. It aslo has a 120V AC plug, an ipod holder with an MP3-WMA-Ipod ready stereo, and maybe the best of all, a 4 can cooler fridge in the glove compartment. its so nasty Im outta words

Nice ride! Congrats man.

Congratulations and best of luck with the new wheels, bro! I'm a big fan of the new car/minivan/SUV crossover vehicles coming out lately, and the Caliber is definitely unique.

Is this your color?

also mine has a sunroof, heated seats, and probably some other shit i havent figured out how to use yet. also 17inch wheels which is nice cause if i want later, it gives alot more wheel options then most cars around the price with 15's

Nice. I've actually had my eye on the new Mazda5...they're marketing it as a "mini-minivan." It looks kinda funky in person, but I can't decide if it looks too much like a mommy van. It's definitely got plenty of room, though.

the mazda 5's are cool, but in the class of the caliber, everything else is low 20's. the one i got is loaded and was still 18,300.

Nice ride. Does it come equipped with two kids and a nagging wife, or are they optional?

When did stationwagons start becoming popular again?

That's great....that's the exact same model and color that the boys on Christopher St. voted "the Car of the Year"!!!!!!!

I was just checking out the Caliber in depth on Dodge's site, and this thing really is cool. Lots of nice little features and gadgets, but the best one is that the interior light pops out and doubles as a flashlight. I love ingenious stuff like that.

HBox wrote:
When did stationwagons start becoming popular again?

When people who have to lug lots of stuff didn't see the logic in spending 35K on an SUV that gets 14 miles to the gallon. When Chrysler invented the minivan back in the 80's they really revolutionized the auto industry. Today's "crossover" vehicles are an extension of that - utlilty with sporty looks and good gas mileage.
Before last night the closest I had seen this car was when it was featured on the Home Run Baggie in Minnesota during the Twins/Yanks series earlier this season. But last night at Jersey Gardens Theater there was an orange/rust colored one in the lobby on display. The interior of this car looks bad as hell. A little "busy" for my taste, but cool nonetheless. Lots of luck with it.

At least if I get thrown in Snoogan's trunk there's a boom box for my entertainment :o)

I just got one of these a couple of weeks ago. I had to sacrifice coolness and got a
4-door for the impending kid--I just couldn't go the mini-van route. At least this
car isn't TOO mommy mobilish. It's black and has a turbo engine.
Well, the photo won't show up. It's a 2006 VW Passat.
