Don and Mike said some really cool things about Opie, Anthony and Jimmy Norton today. In fact Don mentioned that O&A will be heard on WJFK very soon (noting that he was told NOT to mention it )

myspace.com/perrynoidx

myspace.com/thecosmiccircus

The Monday O & A announced the CBS Deal Don and Mike kidded and
said they were going to be in retirement homes and small colleges. It
was cute and I giggled and they had fun with it.

The next day it
was just so cool to hear Don talk openly about the whole thing and how
what he has been through n the last year makes radio wars just seem
silly and pointless. Sure, he could be jealous but why. He and Mike
were very encouraging of the CBS Deal and wished them luck. I just
thought that was such a stand up thing to do considering the history
between shows.

Any audio of the D & M segment?

no offense to anyone, but O&A can be on 100000000 stations and i wouldnt care as long as they are still on XM. same goes for R&F. i want them to get a similar deal like O&A if it means they get a better time slot on XM and more show.

I think the hatchet has been largely buried. O&A I think said that a lot of that conflict before was "for radio" whatever that means, and they were very supportive of D&M in wake of the death of Freda.
That being said, I've still never found D&M funny any of the times I've listened.

nah i wouldn't call it sucking up. i'd call it moving on - letting go of the past - growing up - and maybe a little tip of the hat to a show that has overcome tremendous odds and obstacles.
