During today's show, Ron went on a short tirade about fan interaction and the show. Basically, he's had it with the complainers.  The people who do nothing but piss and moan about the show, the time slot, the staffers, callers who drop the n-bombs and think it makes them funny, etc. This thread is about pledging your allegiance and support to the show.  Through good and bad, through thick and thin, through sickness and in health... We are fans of the Ron and Fez Show. Period. I'm not saying this as Tenbats, or Matty Fridays, or some guy.  I've listened to the show since Shae Marks was giving away free memberships to her site back during the dot com days.  I remember the jokes about Veronica Mosier.  I met my future wife because of the show.  I'm a fan.  And it's still better than almost everything else on the radio.

Yes, it probably is about time for a thread like this.  Lord knows I've added to the pile of crap too with complaints about the timeslot.  Even though it's no reflection on the show, it still might be counter-productive.The Ron and Fez show is the single greatest entertainment source I've ever heard, period.  Better than any TV show, movie, book or other radio show.I am a Ron and Fez fan no matter what.

What can be said that hasn't already been said, and better than I could ever say it?  The point is Ron and Fez are the best; a phenomenon and phenomenal entertainment. Simply put, it does not get any better.

slot & whetever happens to the boys, they always try to do a good
show.  99% of their shows are great and better than ANYTHING else

dot.com shows. I have followed them through every timeslot and station
change. As long as there is a way to listen I will listen.They are the best show around and give more to fans than any other show.I am and will be a fan of Ron and Fez !!!!

I am now and will ALWAYS be a RON AND FEZ FAN, through all the Great times and rough times. I am dedicated to the show and all who are part of it! The boys know what they're doing, we should all support them, Enough with the complaints, C'mon.. They make all of our lives better through Laughter, thought and help us all muster up the strength to face another work day. I thank them, Everyone from Bitz and Bx Johnny to Earl.. ya know. I first fell in love with Ron and Fez when they were in DC - when I heard the "your mom's box" show - I made sure to get an XM radio - I now have 3. I love them I love them I love them!I would become a cutter just for Ron and I would buy a strap-on for Fez.

What's wrong with voicing our opinions? Aren't that what forums like this are made for? I mean obviously we all love Ron and Fez otherwise we wouldn't be here in the first place. But if people are sick of ESD or whoever and want to discuss it with other fans where else are we gonna go? Lighten up Ron we love you guys. By the way I only heard the tail end of that tirade and I for one would like to hear about the business end of the Ron and Fez show. I don't want 100% show all the time I want to hear what's going on in the "reality" behind the scenes.

I don't want 100% show all the time I want to hear what's going on in the "reality" behind the scenes.   There's a difference between "creative criticism" - I, for one, would like a different way to contribute to the show than calling in, like instant feedback or something, and I'm not sure why it's not available... and just out right complaining, saying shit like "ESD sucks and should die of AIDS!" repeat 100x. As for "behind the scenes of the Ron and Fez show" - they NEVER go inside.  That's a major difference between the two shows.  The only time they really went "inside" were the post 9/11 shows, and their respected meltdowns on JFK.

I've been a huge fan since about mid-way through their fist week of XM shows, it took me that long to figure out Ron's sense of humor. I support all the side players they bring on the show, because I trust their comedic sensibilities. I even loved Harry T (but who doesn't love to gawk at a car crash).

I would not be an XM subscriber if it weren't for Ron and Fez.End of story. Don't listen to the complainers, buddays.  I've been listening to Ron (and Ron) and Fez since '92 and they're as good as they were back then.  They run a different kind of show, but it's a more thought provoking and intelligent show today.  Of course, they've always got time for the funny, too.

Ron and Fez was the first show where I actually felt close to the guys on the air. I mean, who else has a message board that's almost family like this? No other show gets so involved with the fans. I've been listening to my Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Fezzie since WNEW, and I can honestly say that the show has been a major part of my life.

I had never heard of Ron and Fez until Opie mentioned that they had gotten the golden ticket last year and were coming to XM. When they started on XM, I was there and from the first few minutes I knew that I had found something that was going to be special. Ron was on point today about R&F fans, particularly their behavior the message boards and their participation with the show. I've been a dedicated listener since the NEW show was syndicated to WJFK during overnights and I love the show as much today as I did then. I want to be on Team Ron and Fez. While the level of bashing of R&F is nowhere near what O&A "fans" do, there shouldn't be any and it should stop.The biggest difference between the FM and XM show seems to be participation from R&F hardcore fans. It seems like 50 percent of the people who call today are either racist or retarded. And that's not a true representation of R&F fans. While the timeslot probably prohibits a lot of us to participate as much as we like, we should all make it a point to pop in with something good, help out the boys if it seems like they need it - but let's be honest, that's a rare occassion. Who's with me?Now if only the phones worked when we called.... BTW I'd love it if Ron brought back the Instant Feedback. I rarely call but when they were on WJFK, I popped in on the messenger all the time and giggled like a schoolgirl everytime Ron acknowledged my message.

I have been a fan and loyal listener of the show from the first day I listened to them when they first came to WNEW. I love the show and love the way it has evolved and even more so I love the XM version of the show the most.

This whole thing is about accuentuating the positives instead of the negatives. I've been dealing with a lot of shit in my life lately, and I'm turning to 202 to make me smile.  Lately, there's been a dark spectre over both shows that isn't making me laugh as much... first the E-Lo thing yesterday, then Ben/Jim fight today, and Ron's rant. A caller was right on O&A today... it's like the spaghetti sliding down the wall - but unlike Divorce, we, as fans, do share some of the blame.   All of us should accept that it'll never be WNEW in the summer of 2001 again.  Too many things have changed. And we shouldn't be mindless fans, accepting every little thing that happens on the show. But if you do have a comment about the show(s), do it in a constructive manner, rather than just bashing for the sake of bashing.

this is my first post to this message board,and it is perfect that it is about loving the show. i love fez of course! but i also love ron and dave and earl. i had never heard them before until they came to xm. i loved them from the first show. i think they are so funny. i listen at work and today i was laughing so hard i was crying during the fire pants brainstorm. everyone thinks i am freak because from 11-2(central) i am always laughing. i,personally love the time slot it makes my day fly by!!!!!!!!! i love the ron, fez and dave show. quit being mean to dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mikey I will join the tribe!!    I have been a loyal fan since the early days when they were syndicated to WJFK overnights.  I was there the first live studio show in DC and the last show in DC.  Unfortunately I have not had a chance to listen as much as I would like to, but I have always and will always support the boys anyway that I can.

The only part of the Ron Rant I had a problem with was the "Call in and help the show if you think it's not going well."I'd be MORE THAN HAPPY to do that, if they weren't on while I was working.  I bought a fucking MyFi JUST FOR RON AND FEZ.  I'd happily call in with something stupid so they could throw me under the bus if it meant I could help the show out.But I can't.  Also, people can't call in as easily now, the phones blow up 5 times an hour.We're here for you BUddays but a lot of us can't call in now, it's just reality.E-mails to E-lo are politely ignored.

I bought XM in Summer 04 because O&A were coming that October.  Icing on the cake was when Ron & Fez were brought on.  While I still like O&A, I make sure that I listen to the entire R&F show each and everyday.  Whether it's a great interview or asking a 9 year old to do Word Association and start with 'Incest', nothing can top the show. -Jody

I'm chiming in late but still have to chime! I love Ron and Fez. They are the only
reason I got XM and if they leave, my subscription will end. I'd pay double, triple
what I pay now to hear them. As much pleasure they have brought me over the
years, it would be the least I could do.
I've helped by shooting off emails here and there (we got DirectTV to bring back
202) but as far as calling in, I think I'd do more harm than good. At least I know
NOT to try!

I've only been listening since they came on XM. It took a little while, but now that I'm addicted, I haven't missed a single show.I've come to love the radio ninja and Americas' sweetheart. And the surrounding cast of misfits(and Bronx Johnny<img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/wink.gif" border="0" />).The fact of the matter is, XM has the two best radio programs in the world.End of discussion.Couldn't have put it better than AngelAmy:"The Best Thing Goin' Today!!!!"
