Hey people, Apparently I brought back a few threads from a member by the name of Horde King.   I have no idea who he/she is but I get a bad vibe he is no longer on the board.   I didn't bring up the threads to open sad wounds.  It was nothing more then coincidence that I picked his.    So if I made anyone sad, I apologize.  Obviously not my intention, I couldn't have known.   Anyway, look at it as bringing his memory back to your thoughts.   Horde King:  Happy early birthday bro even if I didn't get to meet you and I also followed up with your help members quit smoking thread.  I'm sure you wouldn't be offended by that one.

The Horde King was a really great guy who had done a lot of things in his life and spent a lot of time on the board giving out advice on a variety of topics.Then some drama went down that I don't even fully remember, and he and the guy who started it both left the board.  I don't think the current staff members even want to talk about it but it was a much more taboo topic a few years ago.I'd love to see him come back, he was an asset to our board and a genuinely generous and caring person.

The Horde King is the coolest guy on Earth!!!  I believe he's actually a board-certified Psychiatrist--which was why his advice was always insightful.  When he was on the show, he had a very calming and smoothing voice.  I miss him.

No problem.  No need to worry about The Horde King.  I haven't spoken to him in a couple years by now, but he was a very smart, successful guy who was taking care of his family.  I'm sure his life is going very well off the messageboard.If you're still reading the board Horde King, I wish you all the best and please drop me an E-mail.

    There is a difference between reading threads and bumping threads and adding nothing to them. Since both Mojo and Mikey told you to knock it off, I'll acquisesce, but you should learn, along with the good-natured shit-talking that happens here, there is also a certain etiquette.

Well apparently your talk with TEN didn't work very well since he has PM'ed me as well as continues his little snide comments on other threads.  I sent him a pm "asking" him to give it up and yet he continues so ANY suggestions you may have to get this ass off my back, I'm all ears.  I'm not even addressing him in most cases but he continues.

Mike I just sent you an email.   This whole thread was an apology by me to everyone and you see how this guy reacted to it.  He is worse then an old woman and I'm getting fed up with his nit picking everything I say.  I'm going to ask him to just ignore my posts and threads so everyone can have fun.  I certainly have no use for him either so nuff said.

I had problems with Horde King when he called me an antisemite.  Boy, would my rabbi be surprised.  Also, he was NOT a board certified psychologist.  He WAS however giving psychological advice, including recommending medications, without a license.  that's not a proper thing to do over a message board--if anything happens because of his advice, the board is responsible.

Yea that didn't happen.  Horde King gave advice but ALWAYS told people to talk to their doctor before doing anything medical.  We all know that.He gave a lot of advice on stuff that had nothing to do with medicine too.

I think no matter what, people are going to have their own opinions on how good ((or bad)) a person Horde King was when on the board.  Personally, I found him to be incredibly helpful and kind, especially to me when I was going through tough times.  Many, MANY of you remember when I was a bratty little attention whore, and I hope I've showed that I've grown up a bit in the last 5 or so years ((except when I do things in jest)).  I can honestly say that Horde King was very good at giving advice, which you could take it or leave it.  That requires no certification.  I do believe that he always has a person's best interests at heart, and really always did what he could, at least for me, to make me feel better about myself when I felt hopeless.

Regardless of whatever seems to be going on in this thread and the past, I want to note that The Horde King was an asset to this board, and his presence is missed. It was really the political threads that pissedme off (i think back then it was still off topic).  If you didn't agree with what he had to say, he would take personal shots at you.  Eventually he started banning people outright that disagreed.  That (I believe) is why he lost his mod-ship

Yeah, I was on the wrong end of a lot of those disagreements...but like others said, he was someone that people felt comfortable talking to, and usually he had damn good responses or ideas for their questions.  Peaks and valleys...we've all done it, to varying degrees.
