After being banned forever  from Wack cause I posted that O&A were becoming Stern redux, I would like to make a observation and comparison before the same fate meets me here.Plato observed if a room of men were forced to see shadows on a wall they would only know the realty of shadows on a wall.  Wack doesn't allow "new" posts, only their shadows on the wall.Today, Greg claimed credit for high school students who were suspended being devotees of O&A.  Give me a break. The O&A "Show" has become the O&A "Commercial."  Greg knows when they suck, he knows it, Ant knows it, and Jimmy knows it.The bbaboys show is 5 hours of tired and "not funny" since they went to CBS.  When they were XM exclusive they were funny and innovative.  They were hungry.  Because of success the Pests have been relegated to the dunn heap of history because they might jeopardize the pile of money.  Anthony has turned into the "hole" and his creativity is stiffled.Now O&A are on a rant against XM...cause they want to be bigger (more money).  I suspect High Voltage will soon only be Ron & Fez, which is probably for the best.I ask only one question, did you really laff today at anything on O&A?Birkoff

I like the philosophy angle on this one but I don't think you got the allegory of the cave quite right.  In Plato's story, humans were naive and lived in a dark world (i.e. the cave) in which all they knew were the shadowy projections of the real world. Once they stepped out of their dwelling and saw what the world was really like, they could never go back and be satisfied with the shadows on the cave wall that once satisfied them. In other words, once you see something for what it truly is, you can never go back to living a more innocent and naive life. Um, not quite sure what that has to do with O&A or how you were treated at whackbag.
