So here's the deal. I'm looking for extra cash and have been taking bartending classes. Whilst Im taking these classes I kinda wanna get my feet wet and get to know my way around the bar. Well....for those of you who know me know I know my way around a bar.....I mean behind the bar...serving instead of drinking. Kinda like when the drug user finally starts dealing, know what I mean?

So if anyone knows or hear of any kind of opportunity or anything like that coulda ya let me know. Preferrably in the city or Queens, but I'll take whatever sounds best.

AND WHO KNOWS.....I could be serving YOU alcohol in the near future and YOU can be giving ME YOUR money for it.

Thanks.

Club Temple in Times Square is one of the best clubs in NYC today. Their bartenders make HUGE tips. BB Kings is also hiring people all the time.

Most of the bars in Queens are "un-clubby" if you know what I mean? If you have a few that you go to regularly, just ask the manager/owner or one of the bartenders if they would let you work there to test it out..

The blue room by the 59th street tram stop has guest bartending every
wednesday and saturday nights. I was going to do it for fun a few months
ago but ended up in the hospital a few days before and wasn't discharged in
time to actually make it. It is a pretty small bar but they do have wings, and
there aren't really any requirements as far as I can tell for being allowed to
bartend.

If you want to do it there, let me know - I'll do it with you!
