the Five parters were the ones that started on Monday and finished on Friday. I think they were at the start of the season. Serpentor shot Duke with a Snake Arrow and put him in some type of coma. But I do not remember anyone dying on the show.  Why that little bit of minutia is stuck in my head I don't know.

Ok, the full story for GI Joe:No "clones" were ever shot.Cobra BATs were shot and blew up.  They looked like robots, so they got away with it.In the mid-80s, they did Transformers the Movie and GI Joe the Movie.  Transformers went to the theatre, GI Joe did not.  Instead the GI Joe one was split into 5 parts for tv.  In the movie, Duke is shot.  He was supposed to die, but because they shifted it to tv instead of the movie theatre, they had to change it to fcc guidelines, so in the last scene, a character (Scarlett, I think) says they just heard that Duke is going to be ok, hence Duke survives.

In fairness to NASCAR, people do follow it on a week-to-week basis (guilty here), but they only go to one race when it comes locally to them. A good portion of people travel from track-to-track, but you need money and time to do that. Before I die, I want to see races at Indy, Daytona, PIR, and Bristol.

Now, I interpret that to mean that, by placing corps and country before God, you are, in effect, putting these things above God, thus making them into gods, which is idolatry and blasphemy.I would think that someone who professes to be a Christian (and to be fair, the caller didn't state what his religious affiliation was) would put God before everything else, including the corps and the country, but that's just me.Thoughts?

Fair enough then....if God doesn't matter, then He/She shouldn't be mentioned in any of these mantras.  Why not make it "Corps, Country and Family", or "Corps, Country and Freedom", or "Corps, Country and Fez"?Look, I'm just playing (pardon the pun) devil's advocate here.  There are many fundamentalist Christians out there who claim to put God before everything else in their lives, so why, in this case, would they put their country before God, especially when the Bible tells 'em not to?  I guess I'm addressing this to those Christians who do so.  If you're an athiest, never mind.All I'm saying is, if you're not gonna put God first, why mention Him at all?
