See you all in 2 weeks. HA!

With
July 4th being on a Tuesday, Monday the 3rd was supposed to be a
regular working day for us. But the company sends out an e-mail (I
didn't get it but our psychiatrist did and told us about it during
triage) stating that since many people requested July 3rd off, the
agency is going to shut down Monday calling it a "forced vacation",
meaning that all the departments will be closed and they are going to
deduct that day from your vacation days. WTF! Why can't they just make
it a paid holiday (cheap ass son of a bitches). LEAVE MY VACATION TIME
ALONE!! Heck, I'm tempted to join my "renegade" co-workers who are
planning to work that day ("They ain't touching my vacation
time").........or maybe not.

What
are they doing where you work at? Is Monday a paid holiday for you? Are
you going to call out sick, use a personal day, what?
Be glad you don't work for GE. My brother does, and they've been getting regular one two week LAY OFFS for over a year, now. He has a two week lay off starting tomorrow. Damn Chinese light bulbs!

I've got Monday and Tuesday off as official company holidays. They usually give us 2 days off for the 4th and Thanksgiving (Thurs/Fri)

Monday (the 3rd) is a paid holiday at my company. I just started working here a few months back, but we also always had a 4-day weekend for the 4th whenever it made sense (when the 4th was a Tuesday or Thursday).

The whole wisdom teeth thing can be fun....Well I guess not really fun, but tolerable and kind of interesting as long as you don't get dry-socket. With the drugs and everything it's sort of like a planned bender with minor oral surgery.

I am accepting nothing less than percocet for this operation. My
tooth was infected 2 weeks and and vicodin only barely touched the pain
