My day is going too perfectly so far, and I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

1. I came home from work last night and passed out on the couch almost immediately, so my usual 4-5 hours of sleep was extended to 9 hours (and that's waking up early).

2. For breakfast I ate the buffalo wings I made last night, and never ate because I fell asleep (my wife put them in the refrigerator for me - I didn't eat day old chicken that sat out overnight), and there was only 1 single bone wingette in the bunch (2 bones wingettes are the best).

3. My boss just called me, and told me, "No need to come into the office until this afternoon if most of your work can be handled on the phone. Just work from home this morning."

Things are going too well. I'm probably gonna get hit by a bus today.

WTF?

And now (while working from home), an email from my CEO goes out to our whole company saying that we're having the best financial 1/4 in our company's history, so he's adding July 3rd to the list of our company's paid holidays.

Now I'm gonna get hit by 2 buses today.

Browntown, do yourself a favor and grab enough provisions to last you a couple of days and go hide out in the bath tub with a towel over your head and the lights out.

Something big is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy Fucking Karma!!!!! Where do I start?

I've moved 3 times over the past year, and in all the shuffling it seems I've lost track of making sure DMV & my car insurance company have my most recent info. As a result:

1. I missed a car insurance payment (and I didn't know).

2. My insurance company dropped me (and I didn't know).

3. My license was suspended (and I didn't know).

4. When the Police Officer at the Holland Tunnel did a routine check of my paperwork on Friday, I was arrested & my work truck was impounded.

5. I spent 30 hours in jail with every animal in NYC's system for my mistake.

6. After paying all my fines, and returning the plates from my vehicles, I was denied a Restricted Use License because I got a Cell Phone ticket while I had a suspended license.

7 To top it all off, I found out last night that 90% of the Car Insurance companies out there will not insure my wife now, because of me (really fair to a woman that has a perfect driving record her whole life, right?).

I guess I'm paying for that one good day I had a few weeks ago and then some.

Don't say or write 'wingette' any more and everything should be ok. 'Winglet' and 'demi-wing' are fine.
