Fearless.

It reminded me of an old school Chinese kung fu movie, like the Wu-Tang movies, except faster, cooler, and better. It was a real fight movie, no stupid over the top plot, no gangsta influence, just fighting. There was the middle cool down period and just when you think its getting boring it throws you into the climax and it ends with honor. Although Tony Jaa has upped the level of possible ass kicking in a movie with the destructive Tom Yum Goom, Jet Li is still able to throw this fists around for an exciting movie.

If this is the way Jet Li is really going to leave the martial arts movie scene then it's a great exit. The end left me with a smile, for a final movie its a very fitting exit.

Can't wait to see what he is planning for his "JET LI'S RETURN FROM RETIREMENT MOVIE!".

Don't know when it's coming here for a US release but you can get the DVD on ebay from Hong Kong.

You can see the trailer here.

Edit:

I looks like it's his last sort of specific martial arts movie but he'll still be doing stuff.

Wuxia style.

Oh well. Dream is dead.
