Went to go see Pirates of the Carribean last night at the midnight showing at the AMC theatre in Menlo Park Mall.

And I saw the poster for Transformers. Looks like they are making a live action movie from the cartoon/comic. I had no idea it was coming out. Anyone else know about this?

I was a little surprised, but pleasetnly so. I hope it kicks ass. I would go see it. Supposed to come out July of 2007.

I think that the movie is being directed by Michael Bay and that Spielberg is exec producer. AintItCoolNews.com has had some pictures of the vehicles that are going to be used in the movie but so far no shots of the robot forms.

I had heard of the movie a few months ago, amazing what you can find out by searching around on imdb.

I just saw PIRATES, and they rolled the TRANSFORMERS teaser right before the movie started. I couldn't believe it but....the audience broke into sustained applause!

I had no idea that TRANSFORMERS or Michael Bay for that matter could get that kind o' reaction. Very cool.

I've been cautiously optimistic about this movie. Not overtly gushing about it, but wanting to see what happens.

I just saw the newest trailer.

The shot of Starscream transforming into robot mode with the flip was awesome. That jumping transformation and takeoff was fucking amazing.

And there is a third shot of a jet coming down, at a weird angle, then transforming into a robot. Are all three Starscream? Has Megatron been in any of the trailers?

Looks fantastic!

easy.....

Sunstreaker - Cobalt SS or Pontiac G6 GXP

Brawn - Hummer H2 or Silverado 2500HD...but that would just be silly.

since I work for a GM dealer, we are putting on sales event that are themed around the Transformers. We have posters and banners up all over the dealership that I'll take some pictures of and post on here. They are pretty badass and I get to keep them all, BWAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHaH!!

"Absolutely the best movie I've seen in a while. Maybe Hollywood isn't doomed. You should go see it. I have never watched Transformers cartoons or anything and I'd have to say it was incredible. Not only the cars, the graphics, and the storyline, but just the movie as a whole."

I don't think that I have ever seen them more excited about a movie. Maybe I should have gone to this one. lol

i'm trying to not get my hopes up for this cuz i don't want to be disappointed. but, i will probably go see it opening week. does anyone think that a sequel will be made if this movie is a blockbuster? will we be seeing rodimus prime or a cybertron storyline? there will def be a sequel IMO, I highly doubt there will be a rodimus prime since there was no hotrod but I think you will see a galvatron, soundwave/shockwave, and thundercracker and skywarp (PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE) if they do a sequel

Starscream Fan Since Day One, Also Hoping Me Grimlock will be in the Movie, Ill be there the week later, let the cattle fight for tickets

All the decepticon Jets ruled!!! I was hoping starscream would be followed by skywarp and thundecracker when he made his appearance.

Sorry man no grimlock but like I said there will almost def be a sequel so we will have to wait and see.

Overall i really liked the movie especially since MOST of bays stuff stinks. A little too much cheesy dialogue but the fights and action was amazing, it really didnt look like green screened garbage.

If you are a huge fan its a coinflip but I am and I liked it alot

PS - watching the robots run, jump and transform was sick!!

I was blown away with how good this movie was... I loved it...

Die Hard and Transformers made up for me what was previously the worst summer movie year ever... Transformers made my summer though - I am blown away.

I saw it tonight and it was not a good movie. I just got absolutely lost. Not in the plot, but it in the action. There was so much but I feel like so little actually went on. We got Optimus fighting for what, 5 seconds total?
