Oh, it's short notice, but that's just because JustJon wouldn't post this for
me earlier because he was apparently too busy having a life... anyway, it
looks like I will be bartending Saturday (that's actually today) night at the
Blue Room, 1140 2nd Ave (212) 688-4344 from around 9pm until 2ish. It's
not really a destination bar, but it's a great place to kick it off before a night
elsewhere - have some wings (they have great wings and burgers and
whatnot) and a few drinks and then head on out. Maybe I'll even come up
with a R&F themed drink... you know, like a Big A.S.S. shot...

Hey good luck with that.

I have a BBQ to go to, so depending on how much I eat and how early I get out, I'll try most def to stop by. Is this a one shot try out or can we expect more of these from you ?? What kind of bar is it ??

Hope you get a good crowd.

Funny you should ask... it's just guest bartending. If it goes well, you should
come back and bartend with me... wasn't it you that was asking about guest
bartending before?

It's kind of a locals bar from what I can gather... it's where most of my
coworkers at the hospital seem to go after work... they have a dart board I
think... I don't know, I've never really been there... I just know the food
looks really good!

great this is the first weekend I have actually had something planned. Would normally be up for something like this.

Hoboken Motorcycle club has their annual 4th of july party. $20 and all the beer and food you want. They usually have a good band and some kick ass custom bikes that show up. Prize is given for the best bike.

I'll fold clothes.
I'll also make a Sheepy Shot. But it'll have to be non-alcoholic because he's
anti-alcohol, and it's the least I can do as the president of his fan club.

It was okay. super slow night. it was all made better by the few extra special
super duper nice people that did stop in, and i did manage to make one
sheepy shot. comment: it doesn't taste like there's any alcohol in there!

the guy wants me back in a few weeks... I'll make sure to get more advance
