I was doing laundry and came across an old MN Twins 87 world champs T-shirt. I figure it has to be my oldest T-shirt.

What is your oldest T-shirt?

77'

white with black 'now gray' sleeves. bought it on the AC boardwalk and had the picture of the seagull flying in front of a sunset, the words "grand funk railroad", "Inside Looking Out" and "Closer To Home" in black felt letters placed on it. All these items are still intact...

which goes to show things were made better back then

I used to have one from 1954 -- no shit. It was for something called "Utah Boys State" which was some kind of mock government program for kids that dad went through when he was young. I found the shirt at my grandmother's house and kept it. Eventually, my little brother took it from me, so he either has it now, or it has totall disintegrated. The oldest t-shirt I have is one that I designed in college back in 1988.

I've still got a Keith Richards and the X Pensive Winos shirt from 1988 when I saw them at the Meadowlands after Keith's first solo album.

I have a Cure t-shirt from the Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me tour in 1987 that is so thin, it's clear. We have a rule at my house about any t-shirt that has three extraneous holes in it has to be thrown out, so I have kind of socked this one back in my dresser so it survives.

shit man, you could have gotten at least $30 on eBay for that. It
amazes me the shirts that I have had and been faded and had little
holes that I have sold on eBay in the part years. I'm currently holding
onto a 1989 Public Enemy shirt. Besides that, a Sepultura Chaos AD Long
Sleeve from 1993. I m considering selling that one as well.

I have a shirt from the Harley dealearship in Erie Pa. from, like '82. I used to wear it as a night shirt. I'd have a hard time fitting it around my forearm now. Ah, the good old days.
