Ron is a big picture guy, while Jimmy is a very small picture guy. Ron's style of communication is about the difficult "let's bring everybody along for the ride" while Jimmy delivers the laziest style of basic exclusion. Ron's style is much more difficult, while Jimmy aims for the cheap pop without regard each and everytime. </p><p>And that's ok. The world is a big tent and there's room for everybody. But those styles are so different it's ridiculous. Ron comes from the Kinison/Hicks/Outlaw mold, whereas Jimmy is from the Leary/Colin Quinn/Boston crew mold. Think about it. </p><p>Example: Think about the difference between Ron & Jimmy in racist jokes. They both make them. Ron's delivery will generally joke about "the n's" in a very tongue in cheek matter making fun of racist stereotypes, simpleness/stupidity of them & how basically we are all better than that. I've heard Jimmy drop the n-bomb and deliver it in a very dividing manner. Are either of them racist? I would bet not. The major difference is the excluding manner in which Norton's jokes flow. Think about women : Ron: my chick, Jimmy: <a href="mailto:tw@t">tw@t</a>, <a href="mailto:c@nt">c@nt</a>, B1tch, etc. It's just lazy.</p><p>As for Ronnie B killing on O & A: Of course he would, Ronnie B is a veteran whose style easily translates to many formats. </p>

But you also disagree with his views, and agree with Ron's views and that's a major reason you don't like him. There are issues that I disagree with Ronnie and Jimmy on, but I can still see the humor in what they say and laugh. </p><p>As far as them being on opposite ends of the spectrum, I personally think it would make for even better comedy to hear two people with different views busting each others' balls. It would be funnier than two people that think alike going off on a topic. </p>
