I do not know why, but I seem to have a limit to how much I am willing to read on the board, and that limit seems to be about three sentences. Beyond that, and I lose interest and if I see a paragraph length post, I just move on.
Anyone else have a similar length of word tolerance?

I'm going to go the hack route and say that your post was too long for me to read,
I would be willing to read long posts if people broke them down to concise paragraphs.

I don't care about the length. I mean...I don't come to a messageboard to NOT read.

What DOES bother me is when a post has a million errors and ZERO punctuation. I refuse to read that shit. I hate having to decipher a simple paragraph.

use paragraphs and punctuation or you deserve a beating.
text is too small
paragraphs are too long
people can't write coherently
knowing there's posts afterwards makes me want to skim the main post
if there's too many responses, I usually feel like I've missed the boat and don't read the thread at all

That was not a sentence. That was a sentence fragment, hence it is properly capitalized.

then why did you put a period at the end?

I'm really reaching back here (grammar nazis correct me if I'm wrong), but I believe what you typed is in fact a sentence. I believe simply "Use paragraphs." would suffice as a sentence as well.

Of course Matty is an ass for calling you an ass for not capitalizing the begining of said sentence and for all of the obvious reasons.

I believe simply "Use paragraphs." would suffice as a sentence as well.

i agree since the sentence can be construed as a command sentence the subject (you) would be understood.

that being said no offense i write papers left and right for my classes and friends classes so on this board i dont care about separating paragraphs since most of my posts are rants. and i would seriously have to put thought in my paragraphs start making a metaphor to run throughout my entire post, making sure i use descriptive ords that arent usually used. see i take my serious writing very seriously, this board is where i go to just enjoy writing again, and not put the effort into it. plus the arguments are top notch and that also helps my writing.
