Crazy college dreams

<p>We've all had them-- you have a test and you can't find the classroom. I've had them and the class is always history (like where I have at least 2 notebooks full of notes and at least 3 books that HAD to be read!). I'm 39 and too old for these dreams but my subconscious likes to torture me.</p><p>In my dream, I'm on the Fordham campus (infinitely better in my dream since it's in Hawaii and not the Bronx). I suddenly realize I lost my schedule so I don't know what class I have at what time or when. THEN I realize I had a history class LAST SEMESTER that I never went to and I never took the final and I never received my grades for any of my classes.</p><p>I'm too old for this shite.</p>

<p>Don't feel bad. I still have dreams about my dog (who died in 1988). When I wake up, I still think he's around. By the way... his name was Spirit.</p><p>As for the school dreams... I don't think I still have them.</p>

I totally still have these dreams! Only they're all of High School, and not College. In my dreams, I've infrequently gone to Math or Wind Ensemble, oddly enough, and I have a test or concert the next day. Like I haven't been to class in months. And I'm always hoping I can just pass. <br><p>
And don't feel bad. My dad has the exact same dreams, almost. And he's 58. So I don't think it goes away.

This is so funny that this was posted. I just woke up from a nap and had a dream about when i was in High School. I have dreams all the time, good and bad about years past in school and I'm 33 how weird.&nbsp;Well atleast I'm not alone. I wonder if anyone knows why we would dream about these certain things?

<p>I have very similar dreams, Fuzzy.&nbsp; I'll wake up freaking out because I dreamt that I forgot to go to a class, or I couldn't find a class all semester long.</p><p>Now that I'm back in school, I'll occasionally have dreams of muscle attachments, movements&nbsp;and bony features.&nbsp; </p>

<p>I only went to a couple semesters of college, but I have similar high school dreams.&nbsp; </p><p>In them I usually am me, now.&nbsp; So I've been out of high school for 10 years now, and suddenly I'm in my Catholic High School uniform, with my dopey back pack, wondering what my next class is because I forgot where my schedule is.&nbsp; </p><p>I don't get them very often though.</p>

I don't have dreams about the school itself or being there. I hated my hillbilly high school and I hated fascist Miami U.

I didn't have to take any math or science courses in college. That's why I think I don't have any anxiety dreams about then.

I have a bunch of recurring dreams that is really difficult to deal with sometimes.&nbsp; Thats part of the reason I try not to sleep.&nbsp; </p><p>2 of the most vivid are choking on my teeth / teeth falling out of my mouth. </p><p>and being in the house I grew up in as a child while the current owners are gone - they come home while Im in there and I have to run out the side door as they come in the front door.&nbsp;But I have to time it just right so Im not busted in the house - OR seen leaving the house. </p><p>its a great topic.&nbsp; dreaming is just so weird. lil movies play in our head while we sleep. why?</p>

I threw clothes on and raced there so fucking fast i didnt even have the time to think straight.<br /></p><p>Once i got to the room i slipped in and sat down thinking my instructor wouldnt notice and then i glanced around the room and realized it wasnt even my class. <p>I have a recurring dream that I am applying for a job and thats when I find out that I never graduated high school because I failed some easy subject like PE or Drivers Ed. </p><p>I then have to go back to school which allows me to play football again, which I dominate and get a scholarship to some major college. </p>

<p>I have them all the time.&nbsp; But they are rarely about going to class.</p><p>They're about parties or just hanging out with friends.&nbsp; Sometimes I get a weird campus/ current neighborhood hybrid situation.</p><p>They're always great, fun dreams.&nbsp; Then the alarm for work wakes me up.&nbsp; Then I'm depressed.</p><p>That's why I wish I wouldn't have them so often.&nbsp; Maybe just once in a while.</p>
