Back in the beginning of June, I got a call from Chase's Fraud department. Apparently someone had gotten hold of the Mastercard numbers off of my debit card and spent $300. I was reimbursed the money and had the card cancelled. I went to my local branch of the bank and got a temporary replacement and had them order me a new one. I was told Chase was in the process of sending their customers new bank cards and it would take a few days. No problem, I've gone through this before.

Two weeks went by and I didn't get the card. I called the Customer service number and was told a card had never been ordered and I had to go to my local branch for them to order it. I did and was told Chase was sending all new cards to their customers and it would be only a few days.

Three weeks went by...

Four weeks went by...

It's been 5 fucking weeks and still no card! I think I'm going to go to my local branch and have a little heart-to-heart and ream them a new one.

Funk's right on this one. They probably own that bank too or are in the process of acquiring it.

My old bank changed names 3 times due to buyouts and each time things got progressively worse.

I switched to Commerce 2 years ago and not only are their hours incredibly convenient, but I've never had one single problem with them.

Until they get bought out, I'm endorsing them.
