View Full Version : My apt is 101 degrees

I have a railway apt and the circulation is not all that great. The "middle room" is registering 101 degrees. Even with a ceiling fan. The windows in said room are painted shut (besides, they look out onto a shaftway so it wouldn't make a difference anyway).

Thank God I have an AC in the living room. That's pretty much where I sleep in the summer. Besides, the TV and cable are better in that room anyway.

I would relocate and extend any and all cords/appliances/etc. I needed to that room with the A/C as soon as possible.

Maybe you should set up a Kiddy pool for the Kitty Kats! What about them?

If I were you Fuzzybutt, I'd get a wireless router in the room where your cable modem is, then put a wireless card in your comp. This way you won't have to have long cords on the ground and you can take your computer in the cool room.

Just a suggestion.

Put on some cool Ska and dance the heat away!

or better yet, take a nice cool bath with a friend!

I'm not surprised it's 101 in your "middle" room; it's currently 317 degrees outside.

Just a tip, by the way - make sure you have your ceiling fan set to draw up and not blow down. If it's blowing down your just forcing all the hot air around and not drawing the cool A/C air into that room.

Maybe you should set up a Kiddy pool for the Kitty Kats! What about them?

They usually hang in the middle room (I never said they were bright). I shoo them into the AC as often as I can.
