Would "Hang pictures". Is this black slang?  I was in Vegas the first time I heard it.  A bunch of black guys at a club who were teaching me how to be black said they had to go home to hang pictures. What doe sit mean?

I totally took it as a call back to Earls inability to hang pictures back at WNEW. I was surprised Earl didnt throw down the headphones and just walk.
