There has been extensive discussuion regarding people's dislike for ESD, and criticism that Black Earl is useless. I submit that many of us regard these characters the way we do based on how the esteemed Mr Bennington treats them on the air. My take is that Ron obviously thinks they are doing a great job, entertaining us in their own unique way. His frustration and anger is merely an act. If he didn't want them there, they would not be there. "The Ronny factor", (not to be mistaken for the "O'Reilly factor"), has great influence on us listeners, and is prevelant throughout each show. He has a great sense of what works and what is funny, and what is boring. There is another 300 lb. gorilla that enjoys the same influence with his listening audience. One Howard Aaron Stern. I bet if "The Ronny factor" regarded ESD as clever, witty, and worthwhile, the threads on this site would be singing his praises. So far, "The Ronny factor" is batting a thousand. It's all good, it's all funny. ESD and Earl know that. Mr. B is one smart, clever and funny mo-fo.

I think the ron factor goes much further then what you stated, I almost think he could do a show with just about anyone and still make it enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, Fez is a great "Straight" man, but Ron's comments like have you ever had cat?, yeah I've eaten pussy is just hilarious.
Are you saying you're not a Ronnyite? You don't pray in the Church of Ron?
I am also saying at my Magical dinner party where you could invite anyone dead or alive, that along with Richard Pryor, Lee Harvey Oswald, Einstein, Ed Gein, Johnny Carson, Marilyn Monroe, L. DaVinci, and a Sophia Loren in her prime, Ron Bennington would be sitting to my right, making clever conversation and making wisecracks. Ms Loren would be on my lap, tits in my face, thank you very much.
