<p>So far everyday this week, Ron has made a Sublime reference.</p><p>Monday - "Living in a tweeker pad" (lyric from "Garden Grove")</p><p>Tuesday - "Can't fight against the youth, 'cuz they're strong" (lyric from "Jailhouse")</p><p>Wednesday - "Santeria" (song of same name)</p><p> </p><p>Anyone else catch these? </p>

I heard the Santeria one. It was totally relevant to what he was talking about at the time, but taken with the others, it's pretty weird. Maybe he just does that to mess with people. Either that, or he's just listening to a lot of Sublime.
I know Ron went through a huge Sublime phase last year, so I know he's into them in a big big way.

I heard the "fight against the youth" reference but not being all that familiar with Sublime I couldn't put it in context.<br />

Rons always talked about how he loves Sublime.
<p>Ron often sends out secret messages that only I can hear.</p><p> </p><p><img border="0" src="http://www.resa.net/nasa/images/venus/venus%20ultra%20v.jpg" /></p><p> </p><p>Ask me about life on Venus. </p>
<p>Ron's references are not just sublime...they are to die for!</p><p><img height="267" src="http://www.stopdie.com/site_2004/images_photos/V-02%20(220)%20lucas-is-gay.jpg" width="200" border="0" /></p>

He started off today's show by saying KRS-One a few times in a row. Looks like he's keeping it going.<br />

<p>He referenced the KRS-one song today. I wondered if it was just a reference to KRS-one himself until Ron said "that's how I learned, KRS-one"</p><p> </p><p>dammit, beaten</p>

<p>There may be something to this theory. Today when Ron was discussing how Baby Love should be brought up he said "It's The Wrong Way." </p><p>I'm going to listen to all my Sublime tonight so I can pick out tomorrow's reference. </p>

I really thought this thread was a stretch...but when Ron said the line "I know because of KRS-1" no more than 30 seconds into the show I became a believer. Now the questions is WHY? Is this week any kind of sublime anniversary? Either that or Ron read the thread and is fucking with us.

<p>Tomorrows line:</p><p>Ron: "We al know Earls family was stolen from an Africa land, chased out with a knife." </p>

maybe he'll be talking about an eescapade in his youth and say "it only one brick to make that window drop".
I don't think a day goes by without Ron uttering the words "Date Rape" or "Second Hand Smoke."<br />
