It's definately faster than making an appointment (always a week later than you need it) and faster than an emergency room.

<p>If you find the right doctor, it's way better than a walk-in clinic.&nbsp; My doctor in Jersey would take you same day if you called in.&nbsp; Then again, maybe doctors are becoming more easy to get appointments with because they have to complete with the walk-in clinics.</p><p>One of my first &quot;real&quot; jobs was as a medical secretary at&nbsp; doctors office.&nbsp; The office manager and doctor were hideous and selfish when it came to giving people appointments.&nbsp; The office manager told me &quot;don't ever give them appointments same day, they shouldn't expect that&quot;.&nbsp; The only job where I ever lost it... I told the Dr. to go fuck himself after working there 6 months and walked off the job.</p>
