Mel Gibson was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Malibu, Calif. early this morning for suspicion of DUI. Bail was set at $5,000. He was pulled over on the Pacific Coast Highway and a Breathalyzer test was administered. I heard the cop pulled him over after running several stop Signs

He had to be careful when approaching the car because he was afriad Mel had a Lethal Weapon

If Mel skips bond they might have to put a Bounty on his head...

The cops were annoyed because Gibosn wouldn't shut up about his Conspiracy Theory.I heard that the cops were afraid that Gibson had a Lethal Weapon too.Mel was so angry afterward he immediately started plotting his Payback.

I read an article today that said his BAC was .12 which for a guy his size is proably only 6 beers in 1 1/2 - 2 hours.I cant believe he could've really been that batshit drunk to say those things unless he actually believes some of what he says.

I have been having a bit of a hard time trying to wrestle with this idea.  But, does anyone feel that when you are drunk, that you say things that you do not truly feel?  Everyone knows someone who has been piss drunk and they suddenly start crying saying "I love you man!" or "This is the greatest country in the world!" or whatever.  Does anyone know anyone who says things that are against what they believe in their heart? The reason I am having a hard time with it is because I honestly like the guy (no homo), and defended him when he was making the Passion of the Christ movie and the media was trying to villify him, saying his father is known for being an anti-semite and "the apple doesnt fall far from the tree".  I was one of those out there saying "Dont blame the son for the sins of the father".  Now I am not so sure.  I hear Jewish friends of his saying "it was the booze talking".  But could it be true?
