I really don't want to bash Indy Mike, because I'm also into the show, so it's cool when they talk about it, but I just got two real beefs with him - (a) he never seems like he's listening to the show; he's calling in the middle of another topic, or says things like "I don't know if you've talked about Big Brother today..." Argh! just listen! ALSO - (b) he offers nothing really different or new; he refuses to give spoilers, or make the show or feeds seem interesting to people who don't watch the show. It's a guy with a website who is just a listeners. I'd much rather just have Kathleen call in and give recaps of the night before.

By contrast - Johnny Fairplay (who became a fan of R&F when they were in D.C. and caught them through the D&M feeds) - knows what's going on during the Ron and Fez Show and actually called in when he heard Big Brother talked about. Also (!), the dude had insider info, EVEN as he admitted he didn't watch the show before this year. Gotta dig the guy - plus, people are still legitimately pissed about his Grandmother bit! HA!

I've grown to hate the "Big Brother Update" song - which didn't take long; it's odd because, as much as I hated the phones blowing up, I knew once that song began I'd be doing an air-cowbell within seconds, I loved that song so much. The only upside is they don't stay with it too long.

thank you very much, mikeyboy...appreciate the kindly-admin. I'm a wannabe admin you could say.

Well, I think burning out is for certain people and fading away is for others. It depends where you were when you decided to disappear/die. At the height, probably burning out would kick ass. You're forgotten...fade away into the nothingness.

About the 110% thing, my old high school football coach spoke just like the uninteligable coach from Waterboy and he told us before a game that he didn't want us giving 110%, because you can't give more than 100% and he didn't want us getting hurt overexerting ourselves. Funny thing is, that sort of logic won us 2 state titles.
SinA You're WAY off on Munson. The fact that he is so slanted and archaic in his commentary is exactly what makes him unique and not like all the cookie cutter announcers out there.
