<p>Where does the signoff "Seeya!" come from? I started saying it, I got my friends saying it. I have no clue what it's from other than the show.</p><p>Movie? Show?</p>

I don't know how it started, but when they were JFK, a pilot (or maybe an air traffic controller) called in to say that the controllers and pilots around DC all say that to each other on the radios, now.

My guess is it is a shortened version of See you later, which means I will see you at a later time. Some How this Becomes C'Ya.<br />
