<p>Today is the 216th birthday of the United States Coast Guard!!!! I proudly served between the years of 1969 to 1973!!! I had a great time...I finished my term as a 1st class Survivalman!!!! I served off the coast of Viet Nam and Da Nang.....I was an instructor at Coronado Beach (Ca.) as a scuba instructor...but the proudest thing that I did was earn my Good Conduct Medal...no shit!!!!!!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Let's not forget the Coasties that are serving today under the Department of Homeland Security!!!!! they are serving overseas in Iraq&nbsp; and Afghanistan and every other nation that needs our help......AWhatever your politics....support our troops!!!!&nbsp;</p>
