<p class="MsoNormal">I am not one to post something personal. But something happened last week that threw me for a loop. To give some background I am currently head of a user group that meets twice a year and last week we met in Kansas City. There are a few people that I have become friendly with and it nice to see them also.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">One of our regular group brought their new technical director and she seemed ok. The first night we were all at the bar and just drinking and talking. The more I got to know her the more I found myself attracted to her. It started to weird me out since I pretty much have given up on dating and this was the last place I needed any sort of distraction. I kept my distance decided it was best to go to my hotel room early. </p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">The next night we attending a dinner party given by one of the vendors we do business with. She sat at my table because her boss is the Vice Chair of the group and we had to talk about a few things for the next day. All dressed up she even looked better than the night before. Again I kept it friendly and professional. Afterwards a small group decided to go to a dance club. We all had a fun time just hanging, drinking and dancing. As the night wore on she remained close to my side and would only want to dance with me. I admit it was nice. The only problem is when some guy tried to pick her up and would not take no for an answer. The first time she was good at telling him no. The second time her grabbed her and would not let go. At that point she ran to the middle of the group and I stepped in between and told him it would not be a good thing for him if he took another step closer. He got the hint and left.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">For the rest of the night everything was fine. Once in a while she would find me and just give me kiss on the cheek. At end of the night we found ourselves in the elevator alone on our way to our rooms. She leaned over to say something and before I knew it she kissed me. We kept on kissing at least two times past her floor.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">That kiss was the best kiss I have ever gotten. It was just someone honestly attracted to me for the moment and it was incredible. It felt unbelievable and something that I had never felt with anyone before. I just wanted to hold on to her and not let go. Eventually we to our own rooms for the night.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">The next day I wanted to say something but could not because I needed to finish the meeting. As I stood up there talking I found myself glancing at her whenever I could. At the end there were a lot of people needing to talk to me and hovering around. All I could say to her is give me a call and I gave her my card with my personal cell number. I just wonder if I did the right thing. Would she call me? Honestly it would be great. But I cannot let it get weird if nothing happens and we see each other at meetings which will happen.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">This is most I have written on a post but needed to say something because I have no one to really tell this too.</p><p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">Thanks</p>
