<p>I would bet that most of it is kids trying to act tough and imitate what they see on TV. A bunch of little punks! Their parents should give them a nice beating, oh wait you cant hit your kids anymore.</p><p>Has anyone noticed since the whole thing about hitting kids is bad, crime amongst teenagers has risen? I think kids dont fear or respect their parents anymore so they act up because they know nothing is going to happen to them!</p>

<p>I mean I've never met a Crip or a Blood in my life, at least not&nbsp;that I know of but from the one's I've seen on TV and in the news they don't look like they come from families that can move to gated communities unless that gated community is run by the state and/or Feds and has lots of concrete.</p><p>It probably is a bunch of posers but I guess they can be violent either way.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>

This&nbsp;has been a big problem out there since I can remember.&nbsp; Lots of stabbings and shootings almost always related to drug traffic type crimes.&nbsp; Drugs in the Poconos are out of control.&nbsp; They get a shitload more money from the rich kids out there so the real gang-bangers are frequently setting up contacts who might be less violent prone, but still dangerous.&nbsp; And as time goes by, more of this element come out there and more local kids get pulled in.&nbsp; Not a good situation since the local enforcement can't even come close to comparing to the city beats.

<p>2 things I know from growing up out there:</p><p>Two of the largest drug running Mafia families operate out of Scranton. It is the last stop for drugs before they hit NYC.</p><p>Bloods and Crips..better watch out for the real locals...good sized Aryan groups/ Family groups&nbsp;in those mountains...think Next of Kin.</p><p>Dad had a bunch of clients from out there that gave us guns and&nbsp;game meat. I taught swim lessions to a bunch and even tutored English Lit. to a few.</p><p>They are better armed and know more about the surrounding area than anyone else, and they know how to use the local herbs and plants as medicine.</p>
