Prison Break is back and I think it's season 2, although I really have no idea how seasons work anymore being that they take months off at a time and go through the summer.

Anyway, this season the boys have broken out of Fox River and it looks like we'll be watching a man hunt instead of a prison break. Hopefully they will be able to keep the tension as high as they did before and replace the prison rape with something equally as exciting.

So, who's going to be watching? The first bunch of episodes was great and kept me at the end of my seat, squirming in nail biting excitement in ways other shows have not done in a long time. As long as they keep it up again I'll be tuned in each week.

I'll be watching. I think it's either season 3 or season 2.5

There was a break in there during some sport's playoffs.

Considering this was a series built on the premis of getting out of prison, we're now taking a turn and focusing on the wrongful imprisonment consipiracy behind it. It's going to be hard to be on the run and rectify the wrongs.

I suspect the dad will have a bigger role this season, but how long can a group of guys stay together and not get caught? Everyone stands the best chance if they go their separate ways, but then you lose the ensemble part of it.

I think overall this series might have been better suited to a limited run much like some of the BBC shows. But I'm willing to give it a chance and see where they take it.

I friggin' LOVE this show.

Those guys can run from the law, assume new identities, and all that stuff. Fine by me.

If, however, they have to break back IN to prison for some reason....I'm punching out. That would be retarded.

Besides, Tommy Lee Jones had a soft place in his heart for the guy.

Ahhh...just watched the first two episodes of the new season.

I won't spoil anything by saying: the boys are on the run although, they are not all together. Makes for some nice parallel(sp?) story lines.

William Fichtner assumed the Tommy Lee Jones role. REALLY smart character. Good part for him.

The Warden and Bellick have taken this shit personally. They'll be getting plenty of angry screen time.

Somebody dies. It's very unexpected.

and the hits just keep on comin'.

Looks like the Prision Break writers took a cue from 24 and The Shield and gave us an unexpected, and disturbing death scene! It looks like the deceased was chopped up!

Fitchner is an excellent addition and I like the little weakness they teased. What was that in his pen?

An excellent start to the season.

I have to say... the biddies at work are always talking about this
show, but since I used to have a LIFE... I never cared because I was
rarely home to watch the telly shows.

BUT now that I really
don't do much during the week, I caught one episode - the one where
Veronica was killed - and Oh My God I was hooked. I am now Queen
Blockbuster and have been renting each DVD to play catch up. And
I have to say ... I am up to episode 16 and am constantly impressed
with the camera work, acting, and story telling going on here.
Each episode plays like a movie... excellent!

Admittedly...
I am enthralled by Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell...
acting/look/intensity... yah I have crushes big time. But I am
insane over the story and the drama... and am happy to have them
as my regular dates lately. Can't wait till season 2 DVDs come
out ....

So who's watching this season?

Monday's episode I watched online yesterday with that Fox 5 streaming thing they have now, it was a pretty good deal, like Tivo, minus the Tivo and the TV.

So Nika. She sure is hot. The scene with her and Bellack, it was like watching the hottest stripper do her stuff for a fatty in the club. Still turned me on though.

They also seem to be killing everyone off this season, didn't expect either of them so far.

Question: Who is the guy the lead FBI dude keeps looking at on the paper? Oscar something? What's that about?

I think that's the proverbial "One that got away / skeleton in the closet / are you my real Daddy" criminal.

It also looks kinda like an old Mikey Burnett from Ultimate Fighter 4.
