I'm graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in May ((pending all goes well)) and I'm looking to continue studying, but possibly overseas. Anyone do it? I am eligible for my Irish Citizenship and could get an Irish passport which would probably be easier than a student visa. Its just an idea I've had in the back of my mind, but given some research on it, I think its pretty do-able.

Thoughts?

I regret not doing a semester overseas during/after college. If it's like my year in Saudi Arabia was, I recommend you do it if at all possible. You'll learn a lot and it will give you a greater appreciation for another culture -- as well as for being an American.

my youngest sister did a semester in London through Oneonta & FITs study abroad program. She loved it, except that the bank she had set up an account with for use in london fucked up, and she pretty much had no access to any of her cash for a couple of weeks, and my mom had to constantly wire her money.

I did my last semester senior year at Fairleigh overseas. They cave a campus in England called Wroxton.
You could probably even go there if you wanted. They have Masters
classes. If you can do it financially, then by all means, DO
IT! For me the cost per credit was virtually the same and the
living expenses were bearable. There are tons of other options
all across the UK and the rest of Europe too. It was an amazing
experience I'll never forget. Once you get older, married etc,
stuff like this becomes difficult. Do it while you can.
My brother studied in Europe in '99 and LOVED it, but it was still when he was doing undergraduate work. This would be grad work for a Masters ((probably in TV or Film)). It seems like a unique experience, plus it would give me the chance to meet some fo my distant family.
