The point of a producer is to make the show better, so why is Al producing the show. When Al leaves the show and becomes a robot extra in movies who would you choose as producer? I wouldn't mind Joe Poo at least he's funny , to think about anyone is funnier than Al

Joe Poo, Heckler, Carter, or Circus Boy would be my choices.

I would say Pantera, Dan from Hoboken, & me (since I do have major experience with radio, TV & such.) We would run the show with pizzazz & like clockwork, baby !!!!

I thought Tasteless Ginny wasn't bad. I guess Joe Poo should be given an opportunity since he knows the history of the show and he's pretty funny. Dan from Hoboken really has great wit. I think he could probably do it as well. I know R&F give him a hard time with the blank comebacks, but with time, he would learn how to talk and think on the air.

keep in mind as a producer u need to know production and it amazes me how dukes can get away with doing a show in NYC without Prod experience. RNF should be able to go into a prod studio record their voice overs and al should do the rest.......
i work in the NYC radio market and if you don't produce yer out like yesterdays meat from Croft's fridge....

You are correct, Sir. I think it is an injustice to R&F that Al doesn't do what he should to help the show get better ratings. When the show is just R&F I believe we are listening to some of the greatest radio ever. However, when we get dyke dramas with Al, they seem to go nowhere. He might do a lot of work behind the scenes, but I can't say that it comes across on air.

Word around is he does ZERO and it shows so much.... Let's count ok? How many bits have rnf tried to pull off that have gone to the pits? Al went on a tour of NYC and could not put his insecurities away for 3 hours of the day and help the show. Al's producing makes the show frustrating and hurts the flow a lot. COmapred to O&A, rnf have just as good of show but have a hard time executing it because of the people behind the scenes..... I grant you the charachters such as staples and hapmtons help in a certain extent, but i'd rather much have a steady staff who knows what they are doing and can compliment the show rather than have 3 charachters to make fun of and who have no clue on what is going on. This is NYC people, for those in radio, this is where you aim to go. Market number one, there are those, like myself, who never take it for granted and respect those who put me where I am today at 23 years old. Dukes, Staples shouldn't be throwing it back into RNF's faces.... I am sick and tired of these people who come into NY radio and just don't care when there are hundreds salivating at the chance to work here, and Al Dukes in as insult to CBS and everyone who works for them......
