like he did today. Man, people forget how funny Fez really is.

I think it was Tues. or Wed., Ron was a littly cranky and Fez was in one of his "chipper" moods. He fucking KILLED. KILLED!

ARF Shows Rule!!

I am goin on year seven of figuring out how the hell Opie is on the radio. The guy brings absoltuely nothing to the table on that show. He talks like a big tough guy and offers no comedic value to that show whatsoever.

Anthony on the other hand is amazing, and Im sure he thinks Opie stinks too but Opie got him into the buismess.

hey im not the expert on this that most of you are. Been listening to o and a for about a year, and didnt get ron and fez at first. Have become a fan in the last couple of months. Anthony and Ron may be the two funniest people on the radio. The first hour with them together was great. But as soon as anthony left and mayer came in they began talking about gays and if they fight. KInda underhis breath ron said yeah they fight, they slap the shit outa each other. for some reason i couldnt stop laughing at this

He was the radio guy from the beginning. Anthony and Brother Joe did some song parodies for Opie's show, The Nightime Attitude, on WBAB on Long Island in the early 90's (clips are available on Foundry I think). Opie had the smarts to know that Anthony could take him alot farther in radio. Opie was originally offered the Boston gig by himself. He told them he wanted Anthony to be with him. They told him it was okay but he'd have to pay Ant out of the money they offered him. He knew that having Ant with him was smarter for the future, as opposed to taking all the money and being a DJ for the rest of his life. Opie has always had a vision for the show and is pretty much the guy in charge. Anthony was always the talent and has taken on more of the business responsibility as time has gone on, but without Opie's vision neither would be where they are today. Opie would be a DJ somewhere and Ant would probably be working in 2U with his brother. At this point I'm sure Ant could do great on his own now that he has a following, but he'd never throw Opie under the bus like that.

Hey Docgoblin

I know all about the story on how Anthony partnered up with Opie. I never doubted for a second that Opie had the vision to know he had something really huge in Anthony, but as 1/2 of the O&A show I don't think he brings anything to the table. Of course he wanted Anthony with him, he knows damn well he's nowhere without him. I don't doubt for a second that he doesnn't work his ass off for the show, but he should be producing it instead of wasting my time on the airwaves, becasue other than being a real prick to callers and c level celebrities on the air he is fucking atrocious. The whole tough guy attiude with the competion is just so tiresome at this point, as much as they bash radio edit and as much as radio edit absolutely sucks at this point in his career, they are doing the same shit radio edit did back in the day. The whole bash the competiton and T&A angle has been done before

I agree with some of the other posters, in all my years of listening to radio, I dont think I have ever heard two more talented individuals than Ron Bennington and Anthony Cumia. Opie stinks and I hope he doesnt come back.

I can't beleive people still say "opies not good" or "anthony's funnier ".I just love every moment of ron and fez and Oand A. When you watch a tv show or a movie are you constantly saying "oh this is good but imagine if they cast this guy or this guy then it would be more gooder". I just listen and enjoy
