<p>My small town is getting in the news the last few days because a religous leader of the local Baptist Church decided to fire an 81 year old Sunday school teacher because...she is a woman. </p><p><a href="http://edition.cnn.com/2006/US/08/21/menonly.sundayschool.ap/index.html">http://edition.cnn.com/2006/US/08/21/menonly.sundayschool.ap/index.html</a></p><p>Meanwhile, 10th Mountain Division soldiers from nearby Ft. Drum are stationed in Afghanistan, doing the bulk of the fighting against some guys who would love this kind of thing to be the norm. </p>
