It may not be a perfect song, but I think I would like to go to Aenima by tool. Actually anything by tool or APC would be fine with me.

Lake of Fire, covered by Nirvana would be cool too.

"Here Comes The Flood" by Peter Gabriel. If you don't know it I suggest you listen to it (The studio version). It's a beautiful song.

Another song that I thought about is "Keep Me In Your Heart For A While" by Warren Zevon. It was from his last album when he knew he was dying. Kind of appropriate I thought.

The first time I heard it was in the end of the movie "Smoke" when Harvey Keitel was pretending to be the criminal grandson of the elderly blind woman. It was not long after I had moved out to Portland, and pretty much all of the people I would meet in the town, as well as my friend Ken from Portland, and the man I later married, were all at that show. It has become kind of a cultural touchstone: who was and wasn't there?

My chosen death song:

"Well I Wonder"- The Smiths

It would soothe me with its familiarity, and for once it wouldn't be queenily overdramatic.

Regards, Virginia

Go to Ebaum's to see the complete suicide vid. Its disturbing. He's painted up like William Wallace. I could see that wacky "Dan Laroe" guy doing the same to a loop of Fez's voice. "Rude and Rude!" *BANG*

I'll take something by The Byrds maybe Mr. Tambourine Man but if the hospice tells me, "No, you cliched hack." Then I'd really like something sang by Jimmy Gnecco.
