Is anybody surprised?  I don't care that he's a scientologist, but I didn't like him before he started thinking he knew what's best for everyone with depression. I've always been annoyed by people that act like they know what's best for everyone else, and he seems to be the king of that.

Hey I hate the fuck too but isn't it fucking amazing that he get dumped for being a weird mother fucker while other celebs do much worse and never get in trouble?  The world is a fucked up place.  And for Redstone to preach is a fucking joke in itself.  Just thought I'd look at this from the other side of the glass.

How did his last few movies do?  I have a feeling if he was still making them millions upon millions of dollars, they wouldn't care about his off-screen behavior.  I'm not a fan of his, but I'm sure there a lot of successful people in Hollywood that do much worse stuff than jump around on couches and criticize  drug companies.

Reading more into it, you'll discover that he was taking so much of the profits off the top so that even high-grossing movies like MI III break even at best.

I think most of this if bc he threatened the company that he wouldn't promote the movie MI 3 if Comedy Central didn't stop airing the Cruise episode.  He overstepped his power and this is what really pissed off the company execs including Redstone.  They still made plenty of money with him, just not as much as before so they were able to justify it.  Especially since they blame his late promotion of MI 3 for it not doing better even though it still made plenty.  Movies overall just aren't selling in the theaters right now.  TC was still one of the bigger/est stars out there in terms of draw as R/F showed over the last few shows.

The other day in the Daily News they showed a list of his top grossing movies and were pointing to the fact that a lot of them were 100MM+.The thing theye were missing was that past like 1998 the movies that he made that grossed more than 100MM probably cost 200MM to make.Rare exceptions I'm sure.
