Since the show is off next week, this seemed like a good time to reinforce the file library with some old school goodness so people have something to listen to next week if they've already heard the best ofs.  Anyway, here's the deal -- post in this thread the old bits you would like to hear.  For every bit I will attempt to either:a) post a link to where that bit is in the file libraryor b) post that bit in the file library<a href="http://www.ronfez.net/mediastorage/mikey/RFlog.doc" target="_self">Here's a link to most of the audio that I have.</a>  You don't need a date to request a bit, but of course it doesn't hurt if you know it.A few caveats:a) I can't post entire showsb) I have nearly every show going back to August of 2001 (with scattered shows before that), and they are pretty well categorized.  Therefore I will do my best to find your requests.  However, if I cant't find or don't have what you ask for, there's not much I can do about it.c) I reserve the right to limit the amount of XM era stuff I add to the library.  I have limited permission to post XM bits, and I don't want to overdo it.d) I'll do my best to follow-up on the requests I get.  If it ends up being excessive or something comes up that restricts my free time, I might not get everything up in as timely a fashion as you would like.

i'd like to hear the clip when Ron is talking about being fucked up and walking home with a personal pan pizza and looks down at his hands and starts freaking out because he thinks all of a sudden his hands are huge and how is he going to explain this. if you could find it thanks.

In that 2 or 3 week span on JFK that the show was streamed online, a caller was all excited about Google Earth, but Ron showed no enthusiasm at all and found it ridiculous to be excited about seeing your house from space.I'd love to hear that call again.

I think this was in the WNEW/JFK days (when they were on both stations), and there was some talk about churches and what happened.  Anyway, a woman called up and said that at her synogauge, they served candy.  Ron and Fez did a play on the "toothbrush/dog's ass" bit and asked her if it was a "synogauge or a circus."  It was short, but sweet.

mikey you are the best.no clue about the date, but when Mrs. Poo was on the phone talking about joe growing up and wearing sweatshirts to the beach and playing thundercats was hilarious, i would love to hear that again.

Would love to hear any clips where Ron gets pissed at Dave, Earl or any other of the producers (love hearing Ron mad).  Also the clip in december or january when Dave was talking about his blowup doll after breaking up with Claire.  I would also like to hear the westside/eastside clip where dave makes her cry. (so uncomfortable, however not sure if that is ok as she is not a full member of the show).

FROTHY ORANGE JUICE!!!!Pauly (the big dumb oaf) brings Fez a cup of frothy orange juice.Fez doesn't like his orange juice frothy.As his punishment Pauly has to drink 2 gallons of orange juice.To which Pauly remarks,"Not only can I drink 2 gallons, I'd like it frothy!".About 20 minutes later Pauly is puking up his guts.The time frame would have been just before Fezzies' heart attack.

I heard they did, and I saw it on wikipedia, so it HAS to be true. But I'd like to actually hear what they said. Maybe it'll even inspire me to update that stoopid blog somedady.

I don't know what date it was, but I know it was during the WNEW days. I'd guess 2002. I think the discussion had to do with why American Indians never invented the wheel. Ron was convinced that Indians were retarded. It was the bit that made me a fan of the show.

I tell ya - that show log is an amazing read for anyone whose been following the show for a long long time. Good job, MB! I really had some fun with it - it's been so long, you forget how intense certain "characters" are woven into the show - every day, for weeks and weeks on, their drama fuels it - and then they are gone, and new names pop up, etc. It's a fucking Peyton Place for Retards!The whole reason I got carried away is because I saw an ancient listing for "the pants puppet" bit and thought it would be worth putting up there to relive (since they brought it back for XM) - and yet, when I did my list, I plum-damn forgot it.Guess I'll have to get to work on a second list.<img src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/dry.gif" border="0" />Mikey - don't sweat it (obviously!) - maybe a few from each generation to give a nice balance o-the-history. hey mikeyboy,I've been listening to old shows over the last year, So far I've listened to EVERY WJFK show and I've gone back to the WNEW days, I'm currently up to the new york forever bar crawl shows from 2001.  I must say I'm still a fan of the j-dubs, giant brian, bitz days over the Al, Billy and Joe Poo shows.  Anyway, I'd appreciate anything that can be posted from before August 2001, Ron and Ron stuff, dotCom stuff and anything else.   I'd also love any Iris calls and all Giant Briants funny Bad Guest segments from the JFK days (as opposed to boring Black Earl bad guests they have now *cough*noonecaredaboutindependantfilm*cough)Thanks for these and any other highlights you post, looking forward to listening to everyone's highlight moments. ChrisInScotland

Mikeyboy you rule, as does any Replacements fan...  I thought I heard Ron say a week or so ago that Alton Brown from Good Eats on the Food Network had been on the show recently.  Fez mentioned that he had been watching his new show Feasting on Asphalt.  I searched the show log but could not find it.  Do you know if this guest was ever on the show?

Mikeyboy I would love to have the segment with the Alton Brown interview.  Not sure how much demand there is for it, but I'd love it for my collection of R&F stuff...  By the way, the BabyLove bits were all great.  Ron pretending to light up a cigar with the kid in the studio...  That was gold.
