I"m at the point where I'm done with the "fun girl", and looking for the "relationship woman" in my life. It seems that they aren't around. It's not like i have a high of a standard, all I need is a woman that all she has to do is give a shit about me, can put up with my bullshit and quirks, and give back at least as much as I give to her.

Then again I'm a nice guy, so that means I always finish last then

i completely dissagree with previous statement.

Instead you need to go to your local dollar store (walmart, dollar tree, big lots) and pimp game there

it
may sound crazy but i bet you havent tried to pick up a chich there
yet, they are full of tang that have already accepted that they will
never b ballers/b with ballers and are ready to settle down with any
guy with a credit card, even if ur limit is 15 bucks.

the
approach may be acquard but its not overly difficult. The play is
not the makeup isle, you need to go with like home furnishings and like
plates/pots and pans and just act stupid. "i dont know what to
buy, what do you think i need for my hosuse/aparment."(if ur going with
room at parents house then give up)

confidently stupid of
course. good opener and good judge of particular women's
taste. The "what do you have?" angle will give the woman an
oppurtunity to drop the b/f living situation notice.

Most importantly is keep her talking afterwards

My knowledge is now yours. This is just between us tho. If this gets out it would ruin me

i agree. i have known Tuckas for 10 years now. we were friends for a long time. we are even partners in a bridal party. we were both always dating people and we both always hated who the other was with. one day, we finally "met" when i saw her ad on MATCH.com. we have been together ever since. my point is, the right person for you is closer to you then you think.

In my 20s I thought I'd find my ideal mate and everything would turn out ok (made me sleep better at night).

As I fast approach 40, I'm realizing that's not going to happen. I have one failed marriage behind me and one very import post-divorce realtionship just crumble.

I'm the pot without a lid. Not a bad thing, the other pots and lids call me to do things. And may even fix me up with a lid too big (more times than not too small) with me. I have a wiggly handle that can be fixed with an occasional turn of a screw driver.

That's a very creative metaphor actually.

thanks for the advice. It's weird I jsut turned 28, and at this point in my life I shoudl really start looking for a chick for a real relationhsip, not just a fling thing. I don't know, its' just I"m tired of chicks out for only a good time, and I thik it's time to try to find someone to have a stable relationship with.

maybe I'm just a hopless romantic and that's not accepted these days

Im 28 and in a serious relationship and at times think I wish I had the fun girl thing still going on. I think if you just do what your doing things will work out. Sometimes you just want the opposite of what you have just because its different.

I wasted some time with some women I found
But a man in love is what I want to be
I guess that makes me an endangered species.

I'll tell you why you can't find a 'relationship girl'. The widely popular show Sex in the City has trained most women to treat men like garbage and find something wrong with every guy no matter how good he is. It's now very fashionable to do so. Everytime a girl meets a guy she can talk on the phone with her friends all dramatically and pretend she's on the show.

The show also turned gay men into 'the hottest new accessory'! Somehow gay men love the show, but really it was just enforcing stereotypes. Dumb women watching the show: "hmmm...I need to get one of those...that's so cool!"

The joke is on the women, though. If they don't get married, who are they going to divorce and take money from due to being so 'weak' and 'helpless'?

Pete like i said in a previous post in this thread, stop looking she is right in front of you. If Tuckas and I hooked up when first met we never would have worked out so well.
