except for the part about jeter being classy.

He is truly the FACE of the yankees; cocky, smug and self congratulating.

I really dont see how anybody, even non-Yankee fans are putting this loss on A-Rod.

Like Bama said both Sheffield and Giambi have been on this team longer than A-Rod and havent won anything.

The thing about those 2 clowns is they are just as much " accused " of steroids as Bonds is, and neither of them is lumped in with him and the mindless Yankee fans cheer for them and yet Boo Rodriguez who's never been associated with and/or accused of steroids.

And sure A-Rod made some errors but when you DH and play RF its kinda tough to make errors.

Fuckin' A-Rod drove in 122 runs about 80% as many as he did last year when he was the MVP.

Mussina hasnt won dick ever on any team.

Johnson was on this team the last 2 years, makes damn near close enough to A-Rod money consdiering he's a starting pitcher, and hasnt done shit.

Incidentally ESPM did one of their polls on " Who should take the brunt of the blame for the Yanks quick exit " The choices were A-Rod, Rest Of Players, Torre and Front Office ".

Nationally " Rest Of Team " was up 40% followed by Front Office with 26%, then A-Rod at 22% and Torre with 12%.

Other Players and Front office tied at 34% in Tennessee and Torre and Front Office tied at 41% in New Mexico.

New hampshire is apparently anti-A Rod as he edged out the Rest Of The team 34% to 33%.

Did anyone else hear Bill Madden on with Mike Francesa today on the Fan? He said Torre's done and Lou Pinella is gonna be new manager by weeks end. He said Steinbrener took this loss worse than any other year even the loss to the Red Sox. I swore I'd never watch another game last night but now I'm intrested in how the drama is gonna play out this off season.

sorry just noticed the destruction thread
