If you listen to the Right and all the Faux News reporters the economy is going great and people are doing just as well. Read the article in the below link and see how great some Americans are doing.

Poverty has risen over 5% since Bush took office. We havent had a decrease in Poverty since Bush took office. The last decline in the poverty rate was in 2000 Clinton's last year in office.

With this president the rich get richer and everyone else goes down a class. It makes me laugh that so many Americans vote Republican. When will those people understand that The shit the Republicans are selling doesnt help them?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060829/ts_nm/life_usa_poverty_dc

Yes...because the Democrats have all the answers...their way is the only way to go

blech...Once you realize BOTH parties are exactly the same, the better off you'll be. What good does an argument like "The Repblicans/Democrats are evil and the cause of all our problems blah blah blah" really do except waste everyone's time in partisan bickering that accomplishes absolutely nothing

what's this? scientists backing up the FACT that global warming is happening and is caused by humans. and just because global warming is happening doesn't mean the sky is falling and were all doomed. it means we need to research what's likely to happen and what we can do slow this process down.

from the epa's website: http://yosemite.epa.gov/oar/globalwarming.nsf/content/climateuncertainties.html

What's Known for Certain?

Scientists know for certain that human activities are changing the composition of Earth's atmosphere. Increasing levels of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide (CO2 ), in the atmosphere since pre-industrial times have been well documented. There is no doubt this atmospheric buildup of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases is largely the result of human activities.

It's well accepted by scientists that greenhouse gases trap heat in the Earth's atmosphere and tend to warm the planet.
