Jay Mohr can be funny. However, the bizarre thing about his appearances on Ron and Fez is that he and Fez have zero chemistry. Their exchange and all the uncomfortable pauses on today's show was more cringe-inducing than anything O&A have ever done.

Jay had one of the funniest lines of all-time in the entire O&A era. When discussing knocking up his wife, they were discussing low spem count, and he said something akin to "It doesn't matter how many there are when you're dropping them off at the front door."

I loved when the boys asked Jay if he was going to be a ghost on Ghost Whisperer. He had to then explain his character. It really sounded like something he took just to pay his cell phone bill. I love Jay's calls but come on, are you gonna call in and promote your voice over work for IHOP or Kinkos next?

Its simple, Jay works well on O&A, he has that same comedic stylings as them.  He is so off par with the buddays.  The biggest reason I love the buddays is the ability to love smart comedy and also mix in some enriched lifestyles.  Plus we already have the immaturity of East Side thats works well.  Jay just works really awkward and falls short.  Oh and Norton certainly does not rule. ESD 4 LIFE

I listen to O&A and R&F. I think Patrice is amazing when he's on the show. Some of the things he's done and said on O&A were the hardest laughs I've had. Its not white guilt that drives this laughter, its just generally funny stuff. When Bill Burr is on I enjoy the show too. I think Norton is great too. I know some people don't like all of his stuff, sometimes it gets a little played to me too. Its not that I hate the guy but sometimes enough is enough.Nortonrules to attack Fez is to attack everyone on this board. I get happy at 12 everyday cause I know the Ron and FEZ show is starting. Not because in 8 minutes I can hear Jay Mohr call in. Ron doesn't let Mohr call in, as you said, he rolls with it. Its whats going on right now. In a couple of weeks it will be "remember when Jay called in all the time that was strange shit". Don't get yourself confused Jay isn't a part of the show. Jay is great. It's just that he needs to be in the studio. It's hard as hell to be funny on the radio when you are doing a call in. The mix is never right, you are trying to quip fast witty lines as if you are there, and it's just generally hard to get a vibe for the tempo in the room when you are on the phone. Just check out what Jay has done on O+A when he was in studio over the years. Amazingly funny stuff. Since I live in LA I am willing to start XM West. The flagship show will be Jay and I - every day from 4-7 PST time.

absolutely.  like a few others, i think mohr's calls are so cringe-worthy, it's funny.  the lack of chemistry between him and fez gives me chills.  and ron handles him well - they have a similiar sense of humor and timing.
